Watched the new Guy Ritchie film The Covenant - fairly run-of-the-mill storyline but executed really well, largely thanks to Jake Gyllenhaal and Dar Salim the two leads. Really enjoyable thriller/drama, don't often say it but probably would've benefited from an extra 30 mins or so in the final half despite being 2 hours long.

Watched Guardians of the Galaxy which will be the last Marvel film i ever see I hope. Didn’t particularly mind that trilogy so much tbh but is pure junk food.

Saw a trailer though for Fast and Furious 10(TEN!) Really worry about people who watch this.

Damn, 'Tap' is on at 10 past midnight on bbc1 tonight. There's a ton of rubbish they could have dumped or even bbc3/4 they could have moved it to.

I don't like him, he is exactly the same in every film, has one personality, never changes.
I liked Snatch obviously, and The Bank Job is an interesting film

No completely different from his latest films nothing like his British gangster films or operation fortune.

If covenant was 3 hours long it still would of been great, they rushed the ending but it was still a great film

I started to watch it knowing it was a guy Ritchie film and was expecting it to disappoint like the majority of his films do.sadly I hate to admit that this time he did ok was a decent film to be fair
