He does but everyone can see how enraged he gets, so saying he doesn’t care is never going to wash. Also I don’t think anyone would begrudge him going to somewhere “bigger” anyway, he’s given us a big chunk of his career already.

DCL however has all the modelling / fashion thing that probably already wind Benitez up no end, not much of a leap for him / his mates in the papers / that ilk on here to start down the “professionalism” track there.
Benitez's fanboys will absolutely lap that up.

@davek is like Benitez, he was good back in the day, but now he's just a wum here to annoy Evertonians.
No offence mate.
Cant argue your case so someone's "a WUM" or "a Kopite".

How about we just setttle on you being a bad loser that you backed a failed campaign to oust a manager?

Don’t want to point out the obvious that this is hardly PSG and City in a bidding wars for him is it? It’s not even Arsenal and Spurs.

Why are Aston Villa seemingly the club most interested in a so called world class left back at our asking price?

I’ll give my take: poor attitude, can’t defend, slow, attacking delivery has been declining for a while, injury prone.

Probably why he’s looking likely to end up at Aston Villa.

Sold him to a "rival". Absolute ridiculous thing to do.

Digne, Coutinho, Watkins, Ings, McGinn, Ming's, Martinez, Bailey, upcoming manager...rinses our squad from top to bottom.

He’s was excellent for 2 thirds of last season, he dropped off with the rest of the team at the back end but let’s not start with the he’s been gash for years stuff
Not gash, but bang average. If a player isn't standing out from the others in this squad, then them hardly worth getting upset about.

I've always hated Villa - a club that had the nerve to think they were on the same level as us. Now they have Gerrard and the rat, and it's taken it to another level.

£25 million is good money, I just hope we don't get El Ghazi.

Its okay money, we signed him for 18m , he's on contract until 2025 and there should be a winter window tax

I'd be pushing for 30 but the manager wants him gone so we'll take a lower value

Cant wait until this cash is spent.

What a bonus: cash in early so we can rebuild with it.

Us versus them is going to be tasty.

How can people be happy with Everton potentially selling him for £20 million. Meanwhile, Liverpool can sell some absolute no-marks who played three games for the exact same amount.

20 million for a player that'd just signed a long term contract, and selling him to a rival team. The state of that. Barry at the car boot would be able to wrangle a better deal than that.
