How can people be happy with Everton potentially selling him for £20 million. Meanwhile, Liverpool can sell some absolute no-marks who played three games for the exact same amount.

20 million for a player that'd just signed a long term contract, and selling him to a rival team. The state of that. Barry at the car boot would be able to wrangle a better deal than that.

His assists were his only saving grace since he is terrible at the back, a defender who cant defend, totally useless.

But that aiside his attitude is the problem and his lack of desire to play for Everton, the ONLY player in the squad acting like this, which shows he is the probblem. Get rid, wont be missed

I'm of the opinion he should leave as he's paid to play and try his best no matter the manager, but it's not true to say that he can't defend. I'm not sure where this idea has come from

Digne, Coutinho, Watkins, Ings, McGinn, Ming's, Martinez, Bailey, upcoming manager...rinses our squad from top to bottom.

Mings is poor, Bailey is injury prone, they struggle to accommodate Ings and Watkins in one side. Coutinho is only a loan. They are 3 points above us

If he was any good then top clubs would have been in for him. If Villa is the best he can get then it’s not a big loss for us, especially if we invest the fee well in an area of the squad that needs it more.

Villa look like they’re doing what we fell foul of a bit. Players who might not want to be there going for big wages. Bailey has offered nothing so far, Ings hasn’t really paid back the investment and has put Watkins off a bit. Digne and certainly isn’t going to be dying on a hill for Aston Villa and will be on big wages. How does Coutinho play with Buendia?

We had this in the summer when they went for Bailey for big money and we went for Gray. Perhaps finally we are learning our lesson in the transfer market.
