Little to choose between Keane and Mings. Mina is better than him but obviously we can’t get him on the pitch. Gray would be the the player you would compare to Bailey

And you’re not concerned about the management that has prompted this response from an otherwise top professional with no history of causing problems?

If I had an employee, well liked by everyone, a history of professional behaviour and I then appoint a manager who has a known track record of conflict and fall outs wherever he goes - after a few months my employee wants to go to a new job and tells me he can’t work for this manager…it’s not the employee I’m looking at or concerned about, its the manager. I’ll tell you what else, that employee won’t be the first to leave, same will happen with others, same everywhere they go managers with this style, never last long.
 
Embarrassing if we're losing the best left back at the club to villa...
We should be aiming to be above them as a bate minimum not selling them out better players

Or Iwobi as being a similar big money signing who haven't worked out (Bailey has his first season in a new league).

But if you're comfortable in saying our squad is comparable or better than Villa's then...feel free.
 

I can’t be the only one who agrees with nearly everything said in here can I? Benitez is a clueless oaf with no business managing our club, let alone being left in charge of important transfer decisions, and who antagonized Digne and mishandled this situation. Digne is a rapidly declining player who has been living on his reputation for a while, who decided to fake an illness against Chelsea to not risk a transfer. While I will obviously side with Digne because I’ve loved him as a player and hate Benitez, not everything is 0 or 100.

Part of me hates to see him going to about PL club, but Villa aren’t very good this season, I don’t think he makes much of an impact there to be honest. They are a better run club than us and have been building a good team for a few years, who unfortunately we will directly be competing with over the next few seasons, but for some reason I’d rather see him there than Chelsea I think, if it has to be in the league.

The whole thing is a joke to be happening in January.
 
Two things can be true at once. The manager is doing a terrible job, and also Digne should be chased out of this club after refusing to play despite being fit. If we make a profit on him I will be delighted.
