Why aren’t players allowed to challenge a manager anyway? You shouldn’t just sit there and remain quiet if you have something to say.

it is also about already a weak area in our squad, many games coming up until we have another left back in ,a normally model profiessional who was a certain starter under recently and a transfer fee that is getting lower the longer this spat continuesHe’s not in the squad today so its already two . Its ultimately about results , that’ll almost certainly influence whose side we take , that’s football .

It’s essentially the Baines/Martinez situation again, look how that one turned outWhy aren’t players allowed to challenge a manager anyway? You shouldn’t just sit there and remain quiet if you have something to say.
We know there was a bit of a row, yes.Yet is still being selected for games - maybe Digne overstepped the mark?
You dont know.

Senior player, vice captain, dares to mention that he's not getting the best out of him due to his tactics having not won a game in 8.
Binned.
Jose school of management
Really wasting your time explaining logic here pal.We know there was a bit of a row, yes.
Digne clearly did overstep the mark in Benitez's opinion.
he dropped him for the Arsenal game to make that point. However, Digne has been in training all week, with the first team. It's not like whatever he said has resulted in him going into the U23s has it - which is what Moyes used to do.
We're one defensive injury or suspension today away from Kenny having to cover.
Well Jose and Raffa are two of the most successful managers of our time so maybe there is something in that type of management.
Not everyone likes a hugger/modern type approach - and the players certainly were putting in effort against Arsenal.
It’s all smoke and mirrors. A “falling out sale” looks better than “we need to sell to buy”. No doubt digne hasn’t been happy, but it suits both parties. But why would you ostracise a player ffs?
That doesn't drive their price up.

My guess is that a sale is already agreed and not playing him prevents him from getting injured.
Can you imagine the uproar if they came out and said we are selling Digne, we can’t afford for him to be injured, so he isn’t available for selection.
Me too, most fans are pitch fork savages though… ?I mean I personally would appreciate the honesty in that situation. If this was the case, I can’t imagine the club choosing to add more fan pressure onto an unlikeable manager after just giving him control of the club.
