They'll linger...especially Keane because he keeps getting second chances with each manager and it's a career pattern for him at this stage

I just wish we were strong enough to say ‘stay here and pick up your wage if you want but you’re not playing for the first team so if you want to play football this season would be best for you to move’. Lampard had seemingly done that with Keane but of course we get into problems and he’s back in under Dyche. Docuoure exactly the same. They know I they stick around long enough eventually we’ll change manager and then they’ll be in line for another deal.

Needs to be banished from the squad now to make it crystal clear that his time actually playing for Everton is over. If he wants to sit in the reserves and pick up his huge salary is completely down to him, but make it known to him that we want him to leave.
