Never had a Pedigree. So for tonight I had a starter of a pint of Pedigree, the main was two more pints of pedigree, followed by a beautiful pint of Pedigree. All courses washed down by a wonderful Pedigreeā¦ā¦
Never had a Pedigree.
Your post suggests I should seek it out when next on your sod.
I donāt think there is an Irish alternative but happy to be proven wrong. It is probably the finest beer you will ever tasteā¦also available at Tesco in bottles, obviously not as good as draft, and you have to be careful pouring it out. But even from the bottle, if poured correctly, you will taste the bitter of the godsā¦.
Am I being thick , too old or whatever but what are you not having? I have absolutely no idea what the little icons mean
Good man. A blow out every now and again is fineSo for tonight I had a starter of a pint of Pedigree, the main was two more pints of pedigree, followed by a beautiful pint of Pedigree. All courses washed down by a wonderful Pedigreeā¦ā¦
So yes I was being thick! Thanks for the illuminationLook at the user name. This āanonymousā multi account was suggesting folks post in here just to get likes as opposed to the honorable mission of niceness and support @messymascot left us to carry on.

More importantly AT Tesco currently have a 25% off offer when you buy 6 bottles of wine ( their Cotes du Rhone Village finest which I was imbibing last evening is excellent) so full your boots mateI donāt think there is an Irish alternative but happy to be proven wrong.
On my honour I shall procure said nectar in Tesco and report back.
Have a great time and say hello to a relieved VTG .@malfosse congratulations and condolences. Life can throw some absurd things at you, at times. Hope all are bearing up as well as can be expected.
@jazzy this cold is clinging on for all its worth, mate!! You got saunas at your gym? Go on the offensive and sweat the bigger out.
@blue1948 I always enjoy seeing your food posts. @Barnfred 55 ās too, of course, but my regret about my visit to your beautiful country is how brief it was. I really wanted to get stuck into more of the local grub! Iāll have to make my way back one day, perhaps when itās a shade above minus 20, and fill my boots.
Busy day here today. Big squat and bench session at the gym, physio after - it was one of those sessions where I didnāt realise how many little niggles I had until she started working through some of them - and then back to the office to squeeze a dayās work into half a day! Boys are excited for the long weekend but ambivalent towards the coronation (same here, tbf); my wifeās mum is a massive royalist, so even though she isnāt, she always feels the need to throw a little party. Upshot is weāre having afternoon tea and cake. Turned out nice again!
Really need to pack for Vegas this weekend, too. So excited now itās finally round the corner. Alas, the sandwiches and cake mean Iāll probably have to abandon the Speedos, but Iāll be sure to get a couple of good food and cocktail snaps for you all.
Morning everyone,Good morning all on this lovely day here in HyvinkƤƤ.I hope all are well and had a good kip. ee got the thumbs down from her indoors "No better than Schwepps finest " So that and the fact that our "Alko" only stocks one flavour means it's future in our house is under serios threat .I am looking forward to this afternoon ,going for a good walk and maybe as @jazzy says a good film .
All that are interested I hope they get a fine display of pomp and glory .
Bonus! Post-leg session itāll take a minimum of 10 minutes to tackle any flight of stairs so thatāll help chew up the time while avoiding the coronation.Morning everyone,
Wow surprised at Mrs B not liking the Tree. I only occasionally drink G &T and even I notice the difference. Mrs J is an officianado and swears by the stuff .
Anyway it's Coronation Avoidance Day ( or CAD for short , which should resonate with @Barnfred 55 ) so a few ground rules.
Rule 1. don't go to mum's between 10 and whenever it finishes, she is bound to have it on the TV.
Rule 2. Get to the gym at 10.30 ( leg session today @Brett Angell Delight ) with headphones on to drown out the feed from one of the TVs which is bound to show the nonsense.
Rule 3. Go in the steam and sauna, no TVs in there
Rule 4. Come back and walk the dogs , no TV on the canal
Rule 5. Only switch the TV on at 3.05 to watch the Leeds v City game - that should avoid the National Anthem
Rule 6. Only TV in the evening is what's recorded so I've lined up Nicole Kidman in the Northman.
Mixed reviews but Nicole and Vikings so what's not to like, @Gwladysover I wonder if she's called Helga?
Rule 7 . Drink copious amounts of wine
So that's my plan , should work. For anyone of a different persuasion I hope that you love the pagentary and can justify the expense.
Whatever , have a lovely day everyone.
Thank you so much. That is very kind of you. X@anjelikaferrett think of you at this difficult time. I'm sure that you will have a busy weekend in Liverpool but if the family tensions get too much you ( and Mr F of course) are more than welcome to pop up .
I dunno a chat , a relaxing walk around the gardens , whatever.
Just get in touch. I won't be doing much over the weekend
I will do just that, the wine rack is looking a bit bare!More importantly AT Tesco currently have a 25% off offer when you buy 6 bottles of wine ( their Cotes du Rhone Village finest which I was imbibing last evening is excellent) so full your boots mate
Me too, but I prefer to think of it as being naive.Good man. A blow out every now and again is fine
So yes I was being thick! Thanks for the illumination
