Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Just asked how much it is at a private dentist and it is £105 for a consultation, what's going on man.

My family has been going private for 30 years or more. Monthly subscription varies on the individual, but it may be worth looking at…

Just been looking at that. I will investigate further, cheers pete

Looks a lot like Lovage to me Blue.😀

Was it a chilled soup?
Well no as we haven't eaten yet but it is a warm soup with veg and something akin to chipolata sausage .,the lovage is a member of the parsley family but much stronger , the liquid in the soup would be a fantastic consommé . Nice to see they have red wine for you Fred .

Today wasn't the day I was promised by the weatherman. Mainly cloudy with gusty winds this morning. Still Spent the day in shorts, T shirt and sandals though 😀

This morning I took the opportunity to fill up on much needed supplies, ie gin, tonic, lemons and wine. Then had a lovely lunch and then went to explore the area.

It's a bit like a mini St Ives, albeit much less commercialised. It's surrounded by beaches all within walking distance and has a very Cornish feel to it. Investigated a few eating places. The Beach where I went for lunch is one option. Also looked at a Spanish tapas place with a great looking menu. Booked out until September apparently. Will gave to see if I can get lunch there someday. By contrast a new Thai restaurant over in Old Town (about a mile walk) is pretty quiet, so I booked in there tonight. Just having a well earned beer at a pub overlooking the harbour.

Edit. Discovered a few places that sell pasties including ons at Old Town where there us a nice horse shoe Beach. Not sure whether I've nentioned bit pasties and beaches are a match made in heaven.
