The girls new single is out mate. It's about rebellion against a Catholic education so may not be your cup of tea. It's decent though, probably the best they've released. It's on Spotify but try and catch the video on YouTube. Don't think it's quite appropriate to post in here as it's like a cross between Dracula and the Exorcist.lol I posted it yesterday in the what you're listening to thread.

Ha ha, not at all. But you go to church don't you? On occasion. Both the song and the video are a little bit irreverent. I think they're both great, but I'm neither Catholic or particularly religious. Not a pair of brown knickers to be seen either. lol Just seen it's been chosen as Radio 1 hot record this week so at least it should get some decent airtime, which the first 2 singles never had.

Anyway, off to make tea. Cheese and onion tonight. Enjoy your evening mate.

Yes I go to Mass and while I may consider it disrespectful I will look past it for artistic expression .

Kill Bill got huge airplay on R1, albeit heavily edited. The thing is though, bleeping songs just makes us all run to Google it!

It feels like it has been a very long week already. I'm glad it is Wednesday tomorrow and I'm off. No plans other than a gym session at 8.15 am.

Good win for England today in the cricket but I'm not convinced they will get through to the semis. Hope I'm wrong.

Do you remember when you "worked " for a living and somehow the world got by without you running errands ? Well it will if you don't taxi everyone around and all the other stuff you fill your day with ! I accept it is lovely to be wanted and needed but you must take some time out each day .
When I was young I was promoted very fast and the pressure of looking after over a hundred builders at 24 was getting to me ,I went to the doctors with asthma and asked him about the stress ,he told me if you take 20 minutes per day doing absolutely nothing you will be fine ,I never managed that but I tried ,I now see that in you -no not the young bit ! Stay safe and just try a bit .

Now I know why G does her own decorating.
Your house isn't your own when they are in and getting the main bedroom and kitchen done at the same time wasn't a great idea.
Trying to keep the dogs calm , being limited what rooms you can take them in and it's pissing down so you can't take them outside is no fun.
Ah well they came mob handed so should be done by tomorrow.

Morning all, trip to the dentist this morning then a meeting with CQC this afternoon- what a fun filled day eh? . Must admit @jazzy we do our own decorating- I find it very therapeutic even though I’m a bit dodgy on the step ladder these days. My trick is waking up the next day to find I don’t like the colour- now that always goes down really well.

I hate all forms of DIY Val despite my dad being a master carpenter ( I must have a real disapointment lol).
Early on I managed to persuade Mrs J that it would be more cost effective to employ a decorator given that paint and materials were costly and whatever I did would need to be redone properly .
