What a borefest the Cup Final was , shame as I was looking forward to some togger.
Nothing much planned today and thunderstorms forecast so think I will start rewriting the rules relatively to my table tennis league. What a fun life I lead!

Good morning all on this lovely day ,we had a little rain last night and yes we had a BBQ ,the first for many weeks rain that is .I hope all are well and had a good night and that @peteblue is still asleep as hoped .
We have just watched countryfile and were surprised that the winter being so wet has caused so many sewage problems ,as per normal the people they contacted were doing everything possible to ensure whatever whatever.
I am hoping to finish the current batch of log splitting today ,then it is on to painting the plant boxes that are looking tired but that won't be today!

Yes you've inspired me Blue. I've got a load of logs that need splitting and the animal enclosure has an overhanging roof so I can weld my axe without getting wet.
Exercise , something useful and avoid rewriting the TT rules for another day ......win,win, win.

Not at all.
The rules were written years ago and are poorly written, sexist ( constant reference to he ) and ambiguous.
It pains me every time I read them and have to give a decision on a rules breach. Don't want to alter the meaning, just make them more understandable.
That said I keep putting it off AT lol
A necessary evil is reviewing policies/rules. It always surprises me how something as carefully written as legislation looses the impactful wording over time and then you end up trotting out phrases like legislative intent to gloss over it

Morning all, bit of a calamity yesterday. DIL and kids out for the day, son at work so went to walk the dogs. They live 12 miles away, Got there and someone had left their key at home. 
Although I wasn’t going to I ended up watching the Cup Final as my friend asked if I would do a watch along with her. Pleased for her that Manure won as in her words “we needed that, we would have won nothing, not even qualified for Europe this season” Welcome to our world!
Not much planned for today, most likely end up watching the play-off this afternoon, another game where I don’t want either team to win.

Yes I've got a log splitter too Blue .....it's called an axe!
Joking aside a mate has got a log splitter machine and it works superbly . If I had to rely on wood as a major fuel source I'm sure I'd get one
