It has been torrential for the last 24 hours. Supposed to stop raining around 4am. Then dry for 3 daysIs there any sign of the rain easing up?
I can’t imagine the stress levels of those in areas with the potential of water breaching their homes. It has been torrential for the last 24 hours. Supposed to stop raining around 4am. Then dry for 3 days
According to the apple app it should be stopping later tonight so we’ve got our fingers crossed. Our patio is under water at the moment but it’s not high enough to cause any problems apart from to our garden furniture which we wished we’d brought in for winter at the weekend. I’m sure we’ll be fine but it has been torrential as @jazzy says.Is there any sign of the rain easing up?
Garden furniture is sturdy so hopefully needs nothing more than a rub down. Hindsight is a great thing though.According to the apple app it should be stopping later tonight so we’ve got our fingers crossed. Bottom of our garden flooded ( by the summerhouse if you remember Anj) but it is a 10 foot drop from the house to there so we should be fine.According to the apple app it should be stopping later tonight so we’ve got our fingers crossed. Yo Pete. This is why my wife has always insisted that wherever we go we always live on the top of the hill…..
A very sensible woman. Despite living in a lovely house in a nice village Mrs J likes to watch Escape to the Country and always likes houses near a babbling brook or river to which I reply " flood risk " .This is why my wife has always insisted that wherever we go we always live on the top of the hill…..
Yo Pete.
