Bless her. My daughter, when aged about 14, once said to me I can't see the point of school. I already know everything I need to know. To be honest I had some sympathy with her - never once in my adult life have I thought Thank God I remembered how to prove the mid point theorem of a triangleMorning all, bit drizzly here but at least the heavy rain has stopped. Grandkid no.4 was not feeling the happiest when she and her Mum came to pick up her sister yesterday. Her mood wasn’t improved when her Mum said she couldn’t have a J2O, I asked if she had had a good day at school. No she hadn’t and had learned nothing.
What did you do, Maths, Geography History? You like History
No, We don’t do History.
Yes you do Aren’t you doing about the Great Fire of London? That’s history
Nanny, I have zero interest in history or the Great Fire of London . I gave up
Have a good day, all.
Good morning all. Greetings from Liverpool. I came over last night and will be doing some more house clearing today. The drive down was alright. Not much rain and the M6/M58 route is once again proving to be less crowded and less stressful than A1/M62.
You may or may not have noticed that Bruce has added 3 more UK dates to his world tour next year. Two in Manchester and one in Liverpool. I can't go to the Manchester ones. The Liverpool one is at Anfield. So do I love Bruce more than I hate LFC? I have until October 11 to decide - when the tickets go on sale.
Thanks Anj. Val is coming to visit later this month. You should see it in real life. It's beautiful
Look familiar Blue?Good morning all on this autumnal day here ,I hope all are well and had a good night ,we have just had the chimney sweep's annual visit .A nice yound lad but not so nice job ,I told him to promise he would wear all the gear as he would realise too late if he has a problem. @anjelikaferrett go or you would never forgive yourself he won't be touring for much longer ,may be only ten more years
You are more than welcome- you're doing us a favour taking them.Just had the pleasure of seeing Anj again and meeting her brother ( lovely fella and a blue of course) this morning when I drove to her late dads house in South Liverpool to collect yet more generous and most welcome donations for the animals.
Turned out nice now so I think a bit of grass cutting this afternoon, might be the last of the year.
Hope you have / had a safe journey home Anj. Mrs J was absolutely made up with the stuff .................especially the Geisha Doll in a presentation case . She not only loved it ( knew she would ) but thinks it will do well in the shop. She wants to sell it as Maritime memorabillia so I will message you later for further details if you don't mind - she loves a bit of provenance! You are more than welcome- you're doing us a favour taking them.
That’s good news on two counts blue. I won’t join you on the bubbly but will have a coffee and slice of toastJust an update on my personal bits ,I have of course messaged my son and today I had an unsolicited one from him telling me he has another appointment to see the girls in Southport that deal with the A spectrum ,I asked for a chat but he isn't ready yet .
Last week I had more bloods taken and the doctor wrote today to say that everything has stayed almost the same and now it is three months before I need to be tested again so we once again have opened a bottle of bubbly . Edit drunk a bottle !!!
