Dyche will probably drop Tarkowski
Tarkowski actually had more direct errors that lead to goals than Keane last season though, JT had 3 Keane had 1. I don't think either player is especially good tbh and both are far too slow for this level of the game but there is no doubt that Keane certainly makes other players around him play worse. It's a real issue the way everyone seems to see it except the manager and there are solutions available to him and he is not using them.

I’d have no issue if we had a new CB pairing next year in all honesty. Players like Tarkowski are great stop gaps but Everton hold into them for dear life; when we should already be looking at improving on him

I pointed this out last season that we were conceding less with Coady and Tarko who faced more shots under Lampard than Dyche.

I think Dyche knows this or has a idea about it cos he wouldn't have dropped him for Coady and Mina towards the big games last season.

The issue I think is...he doesn't feel the other CBs are better than him. Or at least not ready. Which is his call.

Because for everyone saying throw Branthwaite in...the lad drops some clangers when he does...Keane will be straight back in.

Fundamentally....need another first choice CB.

Dad & Lad relegation combo.

Tarks needs to study Keane and step it up. Only so muck Mick can carry. He'll be pushing for a move to city if we keep throwing him under the bus.
