Mr bates v the Post Office

Arrogant and condescending. She has had a lifetime of using obfuscating language and is married to one of Blair's dark spinmeisters.
I'm still hoping one of the barristers on the floor will get through the force field before end of today.
Jason Beer is very restrained and polite in his questioning of all of the witnesses, the other advocates are slightly more aggressive. If any of these shysters get in front of a criminal court the advocates there will likely be a lot more aggressive. We saw a touch of it just then when she was asked a question and her response was 'I discussed that yesterday with Mr Beer', to be quickly rebuked with "I'd like you to discuss it with me now"

The PO Civil Lit KC is getting some very polite but punchy questions here from Jason Beer. Making it clear that this KC was aware of the concerns over the safety of Jenkins' evidence but he didn't nothing in his duty to disclose this. He is hiding behind being a civil lit lawyer rather than criminal. For a KC, I would suggest that is a weak defence.

Qs now about suppression of evidence of Gareth Jenkins, (the PO expert witness who was an unreliable witness giving false evidence at trial) ... wow

KC admits to using 'colourful' language, my experience of barristers in general, Q/KCs are even more careful and one of the last people to use 'colourful' language.

"I think we discussed this yesterday............... Mr Beer asked me this yesterday" Oh it'all so tiresome for you isn't it dear?
The arrogance of many of these witnesses is outstanding. Would not go well for them, if this progresses to a criminal court.
Sorry - it's Andrew Parsons! Who's Tony Parsons?
