New Everton Stadium

You can have a different opinion without being a red you know, Tony ?
I didn't say you couldn't we all no Davek is a blue An his opinions are normally different than a lot of others on here but people coming on saying the stadium should be 50k is definitely not a blue. I can understand people's arguments for wanting over 60k An the ones against it but no true Everton fan would want a stadium less than 55k minimum we have 10000 people on the waiting list for season tickets the ground still sells out on prem games An that is with a lot of obstructed views.

I've not called for a stadium holding 50k though. To be honest 50k and we might as well just pack it in. For 10,000 extra seats we would be spending an absolute fortune. If your starting from scratch and building a new ground you might as well go bigger. My issue is I don't think the location will allow for much more than 50,000. Elsewhere I don't think we would have a problem with 60k +.

We all have are opinions I believe personally it's the best location we could get the only one better would have been if we had of got kings dock all them years ago.

Kings Dock yes, but that was a massive site, BM isn't the same unfortunately. I fear that we will be locked into a smaller stadium there.

I think if everything is done right it will all work out amazing. I to wish we had purchased say Nelson dock to if we could have extra land An massive car park for match goes that drive the game would have been nice.

Big projects end up following the 'any 2 from 3' rule.
The 3 being
Quality
Cost
Time.
E.g.
cheap and quick often lack quality
quality and speed cost loads
Low cost and quality often take more time
Its very rare you get all 3, one almost always gets sacrificed
Hence the 'any 2 from 3' rule

Capacity = available finance ÷ build finish quality

£650M
55K
2024-25.

Oh and obvs, no £650M (sorry lids post the none Brexit, Brexit debacle, money was a bit tight, nobody would risk the finance)= No Stadium and commence Operation RedevelopThe Bullens, all in conjunction with quick Moshiri sell off to Jenny Seagrove for £1

The other killer variable is scope creep! Hopefully the point of these consultations will be that further down the line they will effectively close the door on opinion and crack on with the agreed design and get the job done! :)
