You never understood what I wrote for sure. Again, "it would have been rejected on transport alone. That is the right answer".

Oh no not another one. A financial expert as well. Wow! They raised the funds the same way Cardiff, Swansea, MK Dons, Arsenal, Darlington, Leicester, Derby, Sunderland, Coventry, etc, etc, raised their capital for their stadia. They never had the lolly ready in their back pockets.

please indulge me tell me how suntan bob will raise the funds...it could mean a promotion for him.

Well at least it's rolling that's a start. Everton may contribute later on if see the plans are really coming on.

A move away from Goodison has the clock counting at 15 years and we're still no closer. The hidden cost of time eh.
The club still wants to move and have made positive steps on many occasions to do so - even after the Credit Crunch. The Credit Crunch and the club being for sale, has curtailed new stadium moves for now. The existing site is just plain bad and 100% unsuitable for a big club. Want EFC to be a big club? Then look away from GP.

By asking such a silly question, it is clear you haven't a clue how these things are financed. How old are you?

I tell you what I do know.

You start a thread on here about "what do you fink about a new main stand" and yet you have no idea why the last stadia failed...no proof that Bill spoke to you directly about selling the club.....no proof of how the stadia will be funded ....no proof of any new owner waiting in the wings.

Cheers

Sunshine, I know exactly why the last stadium failed. Read my posts. They are easy to understand. I do not "fink" - you must be a Cockney. I have never spoken to Bill. He did announce the club was for sale. I never said new owners is waiting. Proof of how the stadium is to be funded. Ask MK Dons then, there was in the world cup group of stadia  How old are you? Boy you are confused. And...there will be NO construction at GP, in the main stand or any stand.

I want Everton to provide be the best Everton experience that can be done, so I am pro Goodison all the way.

I'm not after being the best club. I'm after being the best Everton. So moves to bring in a nearby station then I 'd definitely welcome, so thank you for your info.

Thank you for your pedanticness.

Now back to the points of this thread.

Pedanticness? Seriously? You use that in a post to highlight the validity of a word? :) You are way off the mark in all facets of the stadium situation, I am assuming that somewhere you have a vision of a rail development that will be used by the club as an economic driver. Nothing, I repeat, nothing, you have posted displays that you have an knowledge of planning processes whatsoever, you may have some hobby type fascination with double bogeys but that is it. Stop with the snide comments and maybe people will give you some credit, as it is you are acting like a spoiled brat with a one track, and that may be single gauge, I'm not sure, mind. Get a grip and stop taking yourself so seriously, you're unbalancing the cosmos. BTW, serious question, are you actively working with or for the club itself?

NIL SATIS NISIM OPTIMUM - it says it on the badge. Maybe you should change your support.

You need to quote the lot to keep the context Inner City.

I'm an Evertonian and I want the ultimate Everton. I'm not interested in the brand name Everton winning everything in sight, I'm interested in Everton the 'ideal'(sic) winning everything in sight.

You contradict yourself. To win everything is sight you have to conform to the club motto. That includes the club, the team the stadia, the pies, everything. Staying a low revenue venue will not create the ultimate Everton. That is pretty obvious. To stay at the GP site involves a total rebuild. What is the point? They may as well move to a cheaper to build stadium at a new site with excellent transport links and get the best, as the motto orders.
