I said any qb with the qualities of Mahomes has no business missing those throws.

Not that he’s poor or average.

He crucified the Bengals in the first half like he crucified the Bills last week.

The open question is how a qb with his resume fails in that situation.
The same way he did when he lost to Cincinnati in the regular season?

The same way he did against Brady and Tampa last year?

I dont see how Tanking can be an issue , if the draft system is rewarding of the worst teams its part of the sport . Been happening for as long as I remember. And happens in a lot of sports in different ways. I dont see much of a case against the Dolphins here but the NY Giants could be in bother. Jesus Bill Bellichick though , cringe

Its the issue of bribing to lose, not tanking.

Stephen Ross was reported in Nov. 2019 to have invested into a sports gambling startup as part of a $17.5M fundraising round. If an NFL team owner is investing in sports gambling while incentivizing his head coach to lose games, that's a gigantic issue.

Hopefully, more people come out and start opening talking about the bs like Flores did. A few players have in the past but they were overlooked or written off as crazy so people just moved on.

Most of it is scripted with predetermined outcomes. Some players, some coaches and some refs are in on it. At this point, it is becoming to obvious to ignore. The KC/CIN championship game was a perfect example.

Cincy game 1 he had the ball 3 times in the second half.

Brady and Tampa he was running for his life the whole game.

We are talking about a guy who has been one of the most clutch performers in NFL history with numerous miraculous comebacks, the highest qb rating in history, and 4 straight AFC Title games.

Losses in general are an absolute aberration for him, and losses like the one on Sunday are just unfathomable.

I personally think the NFL needs to do what the NBA, and do a lottery, which ultimately will stop sides tanking.

It’s happened a lot over recent years, I remember the Colts tanking to get Andrew Luck amongst others.

As a Jets fan I remember the “Suck for Sam”, the fans were recalling. A lottery at least keeps every game a feisty one, knowing that being the worst team doesn’t necessarily give you best pick.

See Zion Williamson to New Orleans in 2019, when they were 7th worst.

Indeed sounds quite dodgy alright.

Thanks for shedding some light on the details.

I find it hard to imagine Ross would leave himself open for any blame on this, nor that anyone can prove it. Not saying didnt happen but these owners are pretty shrewd and protected.
Not saying its right just saying it sounds a bit small time compared to what else is going on I reckon anyway.
