Another view of Mills' tap in on the weekend:

I think that's the first time I've seen him come inside with the ball. Up until now I had only noticed him try and get down the line past the left back.

Perhaps he should do it more often.

That’s an interesting comment, for our u21s Mills was renowned for cutting inside from the right and scoring , not just with his left but his right too, so that was a typical goal from him.. Maybe he’s still finding his feet but I’d say he’s very likely to do it more often if given the opportunity. I’m sure ther‘ll be clips of him doing this out there.

Another gem loan? Who are the others?

Yeah, I suppose it's early days and he's had limited minutes so far, only really coming on for short cameos towards the ends of games. Think there's a good chance of him starting on Saturday though, he's only on the bench tonight in our pizza pot trophy match.

Mason Holgate stuck on the bench again but Southampton lose 1-0 at home to Ipswich. Southampton 11th.

As stated above Lewis Warrington finally got a chance starting but was taken off at half time with Plymouth losing 3-1 away to Bristol City. Finished 4-1. Plymouth are 16th.

Oxford United lost 1-0 at home to MK Dons in the EFL Cup. Stanley Mills rested and stayed on the bench.

Another stoppage time win for Harry Tyrer's Chesterfield, 3-2 at home to Halifax. Chesterfield go 3 points clear at the top of the National League.

Zan-Luk Leban's Farsley crashed out of the FA Cup 3-0 away to Scarborough. Farsley had a man sent off and it seems like Zan-Luk didn't have much of a chance with any of the goals.

Neil Maupay missed Brentford's 3-1 home defeat to relegation strugglers Everton due to the loanee rules. If he had played it maybe could have been 3-0. Brentford are 13th.

Mason Holgate back in the Southampton side away to Boro. Soton took the lead but then Holgate was caught in possession leading to Boro's equaliser and he was taken off at the break. It didn't help the Saints much who fell to a 4th straight defeat 2-1. Saints are 15th.

Plymouth halted a 2 match losing run winning 6-2 v Norwich. Lewis Warrington didn't get on. They are 13th. I wonder if they can arrange a loan to a different team in January?

Reece Welch now getting regular playing time for Forest Green. They lost 4-3 at Notts County today despite a Troy Deeney hattrick. Forest Green are 22nd (third from bottom). Bring back big Dunc.

Chesterfield continue their winning run with a 3-2 victory at home to Wealdstone. Apparently Harry Tyrer had no chance with either goals and made a couple of good saves, though his kicking was poor. The Spireites are now 5 points clear at the top.

A 1-0 defeat for Farsley at home to Banbury. Zan-Luk Leban has only conceded 8 goals in 10 matches but Farsley are 13th while Harry Tyrer has conceded 19 in 11 games but his team are top. Anyway, all good experience for the young keepers.

See they played Holgate at RB , got the lowest score out of the team. Poor bloke struggling, wouldn't be surprised if Saints Manager sacked soon. Holgate played under a few Managers, West Brom sacked Moore not long after he went there.
