Referees v Everton

The worst part about the second one was the ref not stopping the restart until VAR had checked the incident. The first one although very soft I've seen given and I'd guarantee if it was Salah or mane it would have been given.
As far as I can tell with the first one there is contact but not enough to warrant a penalty. But I think a yellow card was a bit harsh, if the referee thought he'd gone down too easily surely a verbal warning would have been sufficient. How many times have we had the TV experts saying that a player, if he feels contact, is "entitled" to go down? Or is that only certain players playing for certain clubs? It certainly seems that way. As for Richie "going down too easily", the guy gets assaulted every game and should be able to play by the same rules that seem to be followed by the likes of Mane, Salah, Grealish and of course the sainted Zaha.

Not sure what Frank is on about with 2 pens. The first one absolutely no chance. It's a dive clear as day. For me that's gone against him for the second one. Thats a 50/50 for me. Anywhere else on the pitch it's probably a soft free kick. Would have been a very soft penalty though and I'd be fuming if it was against us.
Nothing should influence anything going against him.

Read this you stupid kopite bore, several times so that the one brain cell can accommodate the information:

The weekend now means Everton have been given 3 yellow cards this season for simulation, out of the six handed out throughout the division.

Can Everton argue with the three bookings? Possibly not.

Can Everton argue that they are TRULY the only team responsible for half the acts of simulation out of the 20 teams who have played in the 550+ games played this season? Absolutely.

Stop supporting Everton and please get with the agenda that we’re absolutely rubbish and deserve all of this corrupt refereeing.

Its 2 seperate incidents. The forst decision shouldn't make any difference to what the referee is thinking for the 2nd

Apparently Dermot Gallagher has said that it was the right decision not to give the Gordon pen, and Richey should have had a red card. The blind leading the blind. What hope do we have if that's the retrospective view? Also said Mane should have gone, which he literally couldn't defend, but somehow VAR didn't see the need to bother.

The kopite refs of yesteryear now legitimising the kopite refs of today.
