Referees v Everton

It's clear to me that Gordon, from his position in front of Matip, was deliberately trying to position his foot under Matips and push it up off the floor, ramming his metatarsals into the delicate studs on Matips boot.

Similar to that time when Distin attacked Suarez studs with his achilles.
Anyone one who watches us knows that Gordon tries to win free kicks and penalties by initiating contact. He is getting a reputation for it.

In the entire Premier League season there have been 12 players booked for simulation, with 6 of those being Everton players.

Let's be honest here Gordon and Richarlison were embarrassing at times yesterday. So why don't we put our own house in order before pretending it is a refereeing issue.

No I don't think it is Gordon has tried to be cute and goes across Matip and then slows down and waits for the contact. I would love someone to explain how they go from being side to side to contact between both players right foot.

Key word "Contact"

Gordon is too quick for him , Matip cant get to the ball so does everything to stop Gordon by arm in his back & stands on his foot ( Michael Keane springs to mind ).
You are in a tiny minority with your thoughts , but not the 1st time for you is it.
Its a plain & simple foul , as its in the box its a penalty.

There is something rotten going on in the EPL - yesterday was worse than krappenburg. Apologies are sfa use if we are relegated but ffs can our players man up

Before you flip off back to rawk are you saying that was not a penalty yesterday when two of your heroes admitted as much

Genuine question why are you constantly trying to justify something on an opposition teams forum in a game you’ve won?

I kind of get signing up to give it some bantery “whey we won 2 nil” but to constantly try to battle other posters by babbling a load of pseudo knowledge is just really odd.

Everton fans are allowed to not think it's a penalty without being called tossers and other names aren't they? I know there's a few rats on here at moment but it's not all the posters who don't see it as a pen. I think it's a pen, but let's not turn into a rawk like echo chamber.

If Gordon's right foot goes towards the ball then there is no contact.

His foot doesn't go towards the ball though. It goes across the defender to initiate contact.

You have inferred the reason why he positioned his foot there. The reality is, AG has possession of the ball and is entitled to move across the ball. It's the defenders responsibility not to initiate contact in this situation, not the attackers.

He is allowed to shield the ball mate. When I was playing I was always told to run across the defender especially if he’s catching you up because he can’t foul you. 100% penalty for me

Hes allowed to put his foot where he wants. He is in control of the ball.

Matip stepping on his foot impedes his play and its a foul.

Obvious what you're up to just as it was obvious during the covid threads.

Given moments earlier they were shoulder to shoulder how did the contact between both players right foot come about ?

Did Matip initiate contact by going across Gordon. Or did Gordon initiate contact by going across Matip ?

As soon as you answer that. Then it is clear why it is not a penalty.

There's no way you're a real human being typing that garbage. Your a robot from the planet Vulcan or something

"Given moments earlier they were side to side, how did the contact then come about" lol lol

I'd love to see you oversee the Olympic 100 metres race.

"Who won that?"

"They all did" says Gwladys Night " as everyone runs at exactly the same speed"

I can't be doing with such blatant knobheadness so on ignore you go you massive plum
