Referees v Everton

Our regular attacks on dodgy decisions are certainly making us as popular as a whistleblower but I still think we should fight the good fight and call them out in each and every one of them. They are a disgrace this season in particular and will keep on dishing it out unless we stand up for ourselves. No one else will.
Exactly
First to call out the Super League 6 out of all the other Premier clubs
Pushed for harsher punishments on behalf of all other Premier League clubs
Didn't toe the line like the rest
Maybe that's why they want us gone
upsetting the applecart

I watched the Newcastle v Arsenal game last night and Arsenal actually looked beatable, albeit Newcastle are obviously a far superior side to us.

One pertinent incident that I noticed was that the Arsenal defender Ben White did exactly what Branthwaite did and only received a yellow card!

The Newcastle crowd were incredible. They got behind their team from the first whistle to the last even when they were under sustained pressure from Arsenal, which is what we need to do on Thursday.

Why would the premier league want rid of us for wanting to save their competition? They should be siding with us if anything!

That Rodri one might be the worst decision I've ever seen. I'm still fuming about it, and Pep's arrogance after the whole thing like he knew he was untouchable.

I just can't believe that was incompetence. They had every possible TV angle. It's almost impossible to get that wrong with an impartial outlook.

It's almost like the game doesn't have a video system in place so that you don't have to worry about "real speed".

Real speed is a buzz word created by these idiot pundits to justify a ridiculous point they make.

Carragher is just biased, simple as that. He should be nowhere near Everton, Liverpool, City or United games because he can't stay professional.

Neville shouldn't be on United games either for the same reason.

I actually don't mind pundits being biased, it's only human nature really, just up the representation a bit. As long as they get pulled up for saying something stupid that's fine.

The bigger issue for me is the nameless propagandists. The hosts or commentators who nobody really cares about who spew the big club bile all the time but hide behind a mask of neutrality. Newspapers are rife with this too.

The match against Brentford was beyond the pale for me.

Against Liverpool, the FA were able to charge Lampard because he obviously said that Liverpool would have been awarded the penalty that we were denied (which we all know they would have been), however because there wasn't a similar at the other end to determine that, they could feasibly throw the book at Lampard for implying the referee was biased.

Against Brentford however, Oliver correctly awarded a free kick to Brentford for a very minor shirt pull by Holgate early in the match. Taking the incident in isolation, he correctly issued a red card to Branthwaite for denying a goal scoring opportunity. He also booked three Brentford players for stopping counter attacks.

Going the other way though, Brentford players were not penalised for shirt pulling, and when of the booked players deliberately denied a goal scoring opportunity, he was not given a second yellow (it wasn't a straight red because be wasn't last man). So we have clear evidence from that match that we were officiated against to a totally different standard than our opponents, the very definition of bias.

Arsenal actually looked beatable, dear me they aren't City they're bang average just a better standard of bang average than us. Newcastle are far superior too us, I don't even know where to start, the same Toon who were one of the favourites for relegation until January, again, they aren't City. (who are also beatable)

They have a far better team at the moment. Silly to suggest otherwise. Our team is absolute bobbins.

I don’t think you’ll find a worse decision in the entirety of football.

Obviously they has been poor decisions prior to the implementation of VAR; but to have a third person look at it and determine it’s not handball is just laughable.

If we stay up, I’d love the club to call a press conference and highlight all the inconsistencies and draw attention to it.

Im pretty sure that other clubs outdside the sky 6 have “dubious” decisions as well; it needs to be rammed home weekly, in the media until change is brought about.

It was the same with silva, the decisions that went against him cost him about 12 points. The Michael Keane penalty at Brighton still stands out

To me that smacked of somebody deciding that City can’t drop points in two consecutive league games. Something they still haven’t done this season by the way

The first ever penalty awarded on VAR of course....
