sorry but that’s an excuse. He hasn’t the squad or only similar players on the bench. We have a front 3 he picks every game who’ve got 7 goals in 20 games. There’s a lot he can change or do something different, loads of managers make changes at half time when things aren’t going to plan, not dyche he seems to think something that hasn’t worked for 45 minutes, will start working in the 46th. He must be the easiest manager to play against when you’re a goal up.
Who else do you think he should pick up front?

Yeah they're in form now, first game they weren't, Luton are absolutely crap, Sheffield are crap, and so are we obviously, but to say we're not good enough to beat Luton at home is insanity.
That lack of nuance here.
We are just below midtable if you add the points back on. A position we should be thankful for.
Rooney just been sacked… he was bought in to play the fearless football you seem to crave. A perfect example of a club changing a system that was working and it getting worse

Ok then I take it back and I'm happy and thankful for the loss against Luton at home and we deserve nothing but relegation scrapes for 30 games of the season.

I don't want fearless football, whatever that means, I want us to have an identity and play well within that identity - which we did for a bit, but we started off like we hadn't touched a football all summer which cost us genuinely easy points and might now slump back to it, which I don't want to happen or see but is a real possibility.

Well dyche signed 2 forwards for over 35mil and another winger on loan, why should players constantly get picked when not performing to the level that they should be. Sends out a bad message, like picking young when he’s making mistakes every week and Keane last season. We Must have the worse front 3 in the league for goals and yet they’re never rotated.

Dobbin, danjuma, Beto have 3 league goals and played probably 1/10 of the minutes the other 3 have

I do find it odd that Dobbin scored a cracking goal and hasnt been seen since.

It doesnt surprise me that Beto and Danjuma dont play tho.
Why danjuma looked dangerous v spurs. Maybe his face doesn’t fit, or he gives dyche the wrong feel. And DCL has been garbage for weeks

There's no such thing as easy points at this level and it's amazing that some of our fans still think we should be beating newly promoted teams with ease just because we were good 40 years ago. Luton have took points off Liverpool and Newcastle and given good games to City Arsenal Chelsea and Spurs they're no mugs. Dropping points to teams around us in the table is annoying and of course we'll all have our own views on whether we could have avoided it by doing things differently but if you look at things as a whole instead of just saying things are bad because we lost one game 3 months ago then it's very hard to see how anyone could say Dyche is doing a bad job so far.

We gave Luton their first win in 40 or whatever years and they looked hilariously championship, we somehow looked worse in that game.

At home.

They've done well when they found their footing, this was 15 matches ago or something though, and everyone was pumping them lol

And I'm saying we won 1 in 7 in that run, not that we lost specifically that game. It's a crap run by a relegation candidate, and I love how you said whole picture - this whole thread is ignoring it because we got 4 good results in a row.

He's doing an okay-at-best job, as he's an okay-at-best manager.

Sying their first win in 40 years makes you sound like a 5 year old at school they hadn't won in the Premier League because they hadn't been in it, counting it in years is something them embarrassing footybantz twitter accounts run by Nigerian Liverpool fans do. They weren't getting pumped by teams at that time either they'd already got a point and lost a couple by a single goal. Losing to them was not a good result obviously but it happens. I haven't been on here for ages it doesn't surprise me if people went overboard about us winning a few games people always go over the top both ways but it's when someone is going over the top about the negatives even when things are OK that you know they have no interest in being balanced and are just going to keep saying the same thing forever until they can say they were proved right.

We are poor up top, and have been for 3 seasons. Whether those 3 mentioned being rotated in and around would make a significant difference, I don't know?

I thought Danjuma did will v spurs off the bench, Beto has done ok a few games, and Dobbin has scored one, but tbh based on what I've seen thus far (and yes it is v.early days) none have made me think 'he should be in the starting XI'.
