Anyone saying sack doesn’t understand:
Our squad quality
Our financial position
The decade of mismanagement that lead to this point

He is absolutely the best man for the job and the fact we haven’t had more days like this one this season is credit to him

People’s turned on him multiple times and then said nothing whilst we won matches. Crawling back out of the woodwork because we lost a couple of cup games and against City and Spurs in the league is pathetic imo.

The only games that I can’t defend are Wolves away, Villa away, Luton home x2. Other than that, I’ve seen well drilled teams give 100% and we should be midtable which is well above this squad’s quality.

superb mate!

i can name a few that didn’t say a word when we was winning

and now they’re saying sack him…

you know the same ones!

I really do wonder what goes on on the training field. I lose count of so many unforced misplaced passes. The constant need to try a glory through ball, lack of movement from players to cut through the lines and the seeming acceptance that all we do now is lump it up top.

Some have the same mentality like the West Ham fans have with Moyes.

It's not pretty front foot football. No but that's not the point. The point is... winning games and staying in the league.

If that's via horrible football then fill my cup
Dyche has more than enough in the bank atm. Without the ten points deduction we’d be looking at the top half and that’s without a doubt the upper ceiling of this squad.

Paper thin squad and injuries were always going to be our downfall at some point. I rather we lost that today than lost against villa the other week. The cup unfortunately is an unwelcome distraction in our plight.

Have to hope we get gueye and doucoure back soon to at least give us some more options in midfield.

The wide situation is desperate, no pressure on McNeill or Harrison for their positions when both are playing very poorly.

Arguably need to send danjuma packing as he will never be given a chance under dyche and need two widemen in. Surely should be something a premier league side can do….alas we can barely afford training cones.

well said mate

The context is that I dont believe he would have got the Everton job if it wasn't for all the mismanagement off the field. That's why I don't see him as the calibre needed to manage Everton. But we are where we are and that's not Dyche's fault.

Today is totally dreadful. He sent out a team that weren't well drilled and didn't know what they were doing. It's not unfair criticism. We were playing Luton not Liverpool, and to lose twice at home in 4 months, entirely due to set pieces, is entirely on the manager for me

I just thoroughly don't enjoy watching Everton play. I'm disillusioned and there's no sign of things getting better. In fact I'm pretty sure it gets worse before it ever gets better.
Totally agree, we have good players yet they are set up in the Sean Dyche defend and hoof mould.

Why would any manager worth their salt want to give possession to the opposition like he does, makes no sense, yet a good possession based manager like Di Zerbi can transform a club like Brighton in to European contenders on an absolute shoestring whilst be pleasing on the eye.

The trouble we have is that if we are in a relegation battle this club and the majority of our fans believe the only type of manager is a Allardyce or Dyche type which simply isn`t true, not in this day and age. Winning games is most important and having a manager that is prepared to play to win rather than playing not to lose.

….there was a clamour to play 2 up top and when he plays two up top you realise why he doesn’t play that way.

He’s doing wonders with the players he has at his disposal.
A bit of a stretch. He’s doing what he can with what he’s got, but I can’t see how it can be described as wonders..

I would like to sit down with him and have him explain to me the theory behind his defensive strategy with corners.

I can take him being rubbish at subs but the corner marking blows my head apart.

That's not me wanting him out by the way. Just want him to improve in those areas.

Joke of a manager. Who in the world thinks having two big lads up front is the answer. Outplayed by luton at home in the cup. We only got into the game when they'd subbed off most of their team.

He is a crap manager who will always have us fighting relegation. If there wasn’t a points deduction, chances are we would still be fighting it now.

We have had plenty of chances to pull away from it this season.

We had plenty of chances to pull away from it last season.

It’s just who he is and it is who he will always be.
