The concern I have now is the morale and confidence level of the team, playing for 270 mins not scoring a goal, knowing that if you concede you are likely to lose. I knows down to the same players, but confidence must be rock bottom and it’s only three games in…..relegation potentially becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. I just think of Leicester last season, really poor start, with the players they have they recovered to an extent and just lost their way again, but it was their start that really killed them.

Hopefully a performance and good win during the week can change that. If we go and struggle then the confidence will dip further and the Sheffield game is going to be another hard slog.

…ha, ha. What you mean is nobody famous or successful would join us but that doesn’t mean ‘no one any good’ would join us. There’ll be plenty of aspiring managers out there who would jump at the chance of coming to Everton. i often think there‘s a lot of luck involved, right man, right place, right time.

Anyway, we should be sticking with Dyche as far as I’m concerned.
Yes I meant no one with a good track record in top flight football. Promising managers from lower levels would obviously jump at it

…I thought Tarkowski missed our best opportunity. We got in plenty of good situations but lacked the quality to exploit them.

Open net for Tarko
Branthwaite headed one straight at Sa. Doucoure's closed his eyes and just threw his head that Sa clawed out.
Doucoure's goal disallowed
Danjuma one on one.

Wolves had 2 shots on target. Fine save from Pickford.
And a goal.

All true, but then you look at who would be choosing the new manager and, well, yeah...

Do you think he will put a side out who can score against Doncaster?

I'm not sure he will. It's as much the managers fault in his system as it is the players execution of the system.

He's a terrible manager, worse than Lampard.
He should play the full first team. They need to get some confidence, they need to score some goals and it's not like we've got European football to worry about. Just get a win, score some goals, get some modicum of positivity around the place. Hell, id even chuck Beto straight in.
