Hows that working out for us winning games?
It's not is it, currently? We're relegation candidates with a piss poor squad, who started the season with the same attacking options as last year. No we have a few forwards we'll need to improve. If we don't, he's probably toast, and we'll go for someone else who can't polish a turd and many will be wanting him sacked in February.

so what’s the point of appointing him then

Oh sound, that’s a new low for Everton - expected defeats is now every game
We appointed him because Frank Lampard was averaging 0.75 points a game, we were probably down under him. Dyche averaged near 1.2 points a game last season and kept us up on that basis.

I think the expectation this season is that we win 10 or 11 games and draw half a dozen, which we hope will be enough to keep us up.

That would have us about 11th.

So now he has more options, if he wants to keep his job, he needs to stop playing Doucs.

Well we’re currently on 0.08 points per game. But it’s ok because we’re a relegation threatened team

What? They’ve been relegation candidates because of records like that??
We were relegation candidates long before he arrived. Did anyone expect Burnley to qualify for europe? Probably not? Were they relegation candidates most seasons? You'd have to check the bookies, but I suspect so.

I don't think he's that good a footballer, but he has scored some key goals, something which we are lacking. Alongside McNeil he was our main goal threat the back end of last season, his goals are why he's getting picked.

They qualified for Europe in 2017, it’s time to let that go.
The fella stayed at that club for many years, it was his last job before ours. That European spot is on his CV, just as much as the relegation battles. Cherry pick by all means, but it was a very good achievement for a club that were, and still are, seen as perennial relegation candidates.

He was sacked by them for practically relegating them mate. We’ve appointed a manager relegated twice to try and save us from relegation.

Ronald Koeman finished 6th with Southampton eons ago, does that make him a good manager? Should we bring him back?

What you thinking? Beto ahead of McNeil with Danjuma and Harrison on the wings? 60 minutes, Cal-Lewin for Beto and Doucoure for McNeil, bit of muscle and fresh legs towards the end of games?

tbf like, that's mission achieved?

Because of him; and this what does my head in with this argument. He never, once, tried to progress them. Look at Moyes at us, every season we improved, he got better players for relatively small outlay and changed tactics.

Brentford and Brighton again both proof that there’s a market to be exploited without loads of money.

Dyche never intended that at Burnley, he wanted yard dogs doing yard dog things every season. In fact the only moment the new owners wanted a different type of player with a bit more flair he absolutely bombed them into relegation

He’s a one dimensional manager. It’s as clear as day what he wants from us, and he’s imposing that at the detriment of the team - and it’s evident
