My major gripe is the fact we concede possession so much, it gets tiresome and dull watching the opposition have the ball all the time. I don't find it enjoyable which is why he needs results. Wins can paper over a lot. If we're going to concede possession then he needs to pick up more wins.

That being said, the green shoots of recovery are there, we're steadily improving now people are fit and so that's all I can ask for at this stage.

Hi Ste the coward,

Remember when you made excuses for losing at home to Luton and said “it’s a long standing issue” therefore not the managers responsibility.

That was fun
It is a long standing issue that we lose to promoted teams though. That's just a fact and just because you're a top blue, doesn't change that

I still don’t get how we lost to luton at home
Because of our personnel. Everton are good at playing footy when we don't have possession and can counter attack. That's why our form has improved away from home. There's a formula for beating Everton at goodison. Give them the ball, let them come at you, make the crowd tense, nick a goal on the break, make the crowd more angry and the team lose their heads.

Just maybe we lack players with the technical ability to play how Lampard wanted. Dyche knows the limitations of our squad and is setting us up in a more pragmatic way which these players can buy into.
Finding a system that suits the players, not trying to shoehorn the players into a system that fits some personal preference or abstract philosophy...but doesn't suit their limitations - what a novelty.

I don’t use Twitter mate; I don’t want aids poured into my eyes.

So the answer is, you cant

Cheers Sean
It's a shame you can't do a basic task mate. People have lives you know.

So the answer is, you don't have one

Also why would you pure jizz or blood in your eyes

Cheers Chris

Not sure you’ve ever been in the minority on this one mate.

I think the majority of the fan base are and have been very self aware of the job of work at the club and realistic on what it’s going to take to do it, in difficult circumstances.

I think the majority of the supporter base have supported him thorough out.

That’s not to dismiss lads, who had/have doubts, Everton have done a number on many the past course or of years and you can understand the anxiety.

Also, this is a process not an event, we need not to get too high when we win and not too low when we inevitably loose.

I think we’ll be alright, we are becoming competitive and developing , I’ll take that.
He was 1 result away from being our worse manager ever, he managed to turn it a bit with 2 wins in 3, big week ahead for him and us

I dont mond the possession stats asling as we try and move the ball fast to counter. Is something i would like to add into the team is a more creative player in the middle to help is with that. But this season i just want us hard to defeat with a strong defence then break fast on the counter, just a start for me this season get it over with and look again next season to push on.

Agree with both i have called him out alot and fans had every right to call him out with the results and the home record. Not saying i am fully on board with him still because i still want us to push. But do agree we have started to show more the last few games team has a better mentality and more of a fixed shape to it.

It’s funny listening to the West Ham fans moaning about Moyes limitations and thinking how much Dyche reminds me of him.

Essentially, can set up a team to be solid, hard to beat and hit on the counter attack, classic kitap1. When the opposition set up the same way, let them have the ball and sit back and the onus is on a Moyes/Dyche team to break down the opponent - they have no clue.

That’s why neither of them will ever coach a top team- functional, organised, hard to beat, football that suits the underdogs. That’s where they’re at as managers, their comfort zone, which is fine for us at the moment because that’s pretty much where we’re at.

Yeah will be a time when we need more is why if he wants this formation we really need a creative player in doucoure role who can get on the ball. Is hopefully one of the areas the club is looking at.

Hopefully we can get the lad off Blackburn ,Wharton and have a pretty effective partnership with Garner onana him and DCL

He will cost too much imo and tbh there are better CM in the championship than Wharton. Id personally swerve the championship as I think the days of picking up a cheap deal from there are gone tbh, Alex Scott cost Bournemouth £25m+extras and that was from Bristol City who are a fairly smallish team.

Apologies to Dyche, please form an orderly queue please lads.

Said it time and again. Dyche is boss. Easily mid table this season even with -12 points at some point.

All those doubters, feel free to apologise to the great ginger manager here.

:)
