2024/25 Sean Dyche

That's cos he always manages relegation fodder - we are relegation fodder. You need to take the Blue pill. What's the story here?
The story is while hes here we will always be in a relegation scrap.

Fire him and hire someone who is progressive to move us away from this.
Hire someone who will make going the game or watching on tv a little bit enjoyable.
Hire someone who develops players he and his team coaches
Hire someone who has a CV that moves clubs in an upward direction
Hire someone whos tactics are not from the early 80s
Hire someone who plans A isnt too hoof it and has a plan B
Hire someone who lets wingers attack first not defend first
Hire someone who doesnt think experience players are the answer when they have repeatedly failed you time and time again.
Hire someone who has an answer to going a goal down

Dont come at with the players arent good enough thats why we play the way we do.

A team consisting of Welbeck and Milner destroyed us yesterday at home.

Beat points deductions and sticks it to the PL.
Everton are part of the PL .
The PL is a league of which we are part not a hostile entity.
The object of partaking in a league is to attempt to be the best performing member , not to attack it since you are essentially ‘sticking it’ to yourself.
We were punished for breaching rules we agreed to and helped formulate.

Tbf he did have some bang average Burnley teams and kept them up. However he also is not the miracle worker some claim he is. He is a limited manager who will go through more bad spells than good but is so defensive so can grind out points with better players but he will never push us on or evolve our playing style because his tactics are basic. There is a reason his teams will go periods not winning then a little run of results then back to the usual again
His tactics are Sunday league level that me and you could employ if we was manager of the club.

Brighton came from behind against us with 10 men last year. Because they showed fight and weren't willing to give up

Instead our manager subbed off an attacking winger for Mason Holgate.

It's as much about mentality as it is quality. We will never get better under this manager and his outdated methods.

They gave up when we put 5 past them on their own ground. One performance does not extrapolate out to the entire club though. We played badly yesterday no one is denying that. Brighton will have their days this season when they take an absolute battering, after about 20 mins I thought they were one of the worst PL teams of ever seen at Goodison and some teams will be on a good day against them when they’re on a bad day and they’ll be getting punted all over the shop, Every club not called Manchester City or Arsenal are going to have days like this. It’s not indicative of anything, the season is long, players change, lineups change, form comes and goes. This is the reality of mid to lower mid table football.

He should stfu about constantly saying any of our players will go if a bid decent enough comes in as well, that's just creating a negative feeling and can see players getting in the blower to agents after he says it

Yes we all know it, but repeating it as nauseam like he does is for one purpose - to reinforce how difficult he has it here and how great he's doing under that many constraints.

Simply put, that difficult, don't like the fans reaction to an embarrassing performance, then do one, see what level of club your next job will be at.

Guys at the biggest club he ever will be, time he respected that.

It's not good to hear. But at the end of the day he's guided us through another two relegation threatened seasons and his methodology just about works. Ild rather stick with that scenario than take a chance on another manager who may or may not do better.

He’s a necessary evil this season. He’ll grind his way (horrible mental image) to safety and that’ll be good enough for us. Next season though, new stadium, new owner, hopefully some funds - wouldn’t be offering him a new deal. See it out to the summer and thank him for his service. Criminal to let him lead us into the new stadium.
I think we're in a big hole for years to come.

If not Dyche then we'd need another firefighter type.

We are miles away from a team that can play with more flair.

We'll be all hands to the pumps for years to come. Only getting another Mansour in here would change that dynamic.
