Serious Question

Sniderman did you get enough sleep too buddy? You were posting on here at 0030 and also at 0600.

I hope you aren’t getting too upset about people getting upset.

Take time to remember how beautiful life can be and that it’s only Everton forum.
thank u for ur lovely concern buddy. there is this thing called time zone and all buddies can sleep easy knowing i am stalking punks and jabronis keeping u all safe. i shall now scan for piss before taking rest.

I've finally reached my breaking point with the club. I was sitting there watching the game yesterday and felt that horrible frustration and an anger that hadn't come over me since May and thought why on earth am I letting them do this to me?

I'm letting a bunch of random footballers dictate how I feel and how annoyed I will be for the weekend. Every cross that went off for a goal kick by Harrison making me more frustrated in the knowledge that the chances of winning were going down another few percent, every offside from Doucoure doing the same. The glaring issues from the seasons before repeating themselves.

Watching a very average Brighton team with Milner and Welbeck and a load of new players and new manager who couldn't have been fully prepared yet to take on Premier league football finding the easiest game of the lives. But drilled into a system that actually works other than one dimensional long balls to a right winger with no end product.

I can do without it to be honest and I won't be watching next weekend and I can guarantee I will feel a lot better for not doing so.

Perspective is a valuable tool.

Spend 90 minutes being angry, depressed, happy, bored or elated and give your emotions a healthy little workout. But then as it's literally a game it's healthy to just drop it there...maybe a little cooldown period rather than a complete on/off switch but still, leave it there.

There's enough genuinely crappy stuff to get legitimately angry about. I've long since learned to not take Ebepton too seriously. It's as bad as fans who think because their club has won something then they have themselves achieved or somehow have an inflated sense of self worth which places them on a pedestal above other people.

When you put it like that.. yeah we are screwed. Also our best striker in his last year as is Goodison. Great to be back isn't it.
I dont think screwed we can still end this window on a high the club have to go and bring players in need atleast two/three is a must the squad is just to short already. Doing that would bring back aome positivity then finally just get the takeover done just so we can get change.

Exactly this, it's laughable how some people have that and its almost a natural instinct but really it's ridiculous. I'm not sure why I felt how I did yesterday as last season I was just accepting it more. But because I did means it's time to just switch it off for a while.

Inappropriate Language
When did EFC supporters become so passive to this dross……dont you care anymore?
When we knew it was utterly pointless.

Do you think a billionaire, millionaire owner or whatever is going to listen ...

Weve had kenwright for years doing what the hell he wanted, no one really did much.. its just become such an apathetic situation.

They dont give two hoots about what we do, the sky money has seen to that, whilever that is rolling in, they're all good.

We have become a caricature of a football club.

I hate the way them over the park are loving the mess we are in. Even when Messhiri buggers off, weve a shti tonne of debt to contend with, weve a new stadium, big deal. We cant even afford to properly compete in the transfer market.

This is the worst weve EVER been, even when relegated in the 50s we werent tbis bad.

Totally dispondant for the whole evwrton thing myself.

But have learnt its just not worth my emotion anymore. Simple

I’m going to come out of the woodwork and say because it’s all pointless.

The games rigged for certain teams to stay good ad infinitum because they bring in the money and the exposure from entire continents and even governments from outside these isles. If you’re not already in the elite you’re never winning anything significant again. You’re watching a league that your team literally isn’t allowed to win. There’s no parity, there’s no competition, it’s just a sham.

Best case, with getting bought out and the “perfect structure” being put in place etc. Everton are what, fluking fourth place? Then they’re just going to be forced to sell all their good players at a price dictated by the elite because that’s what the sustainability rules enforce and neither the league nor the “elite” clubs want anybody upsetting their bottom line.

And in the unlikely event that Everton have some sustained success? Well the leagues just going to break up into some European Super League that they’re not going to be in anyway.

And before people say “ace, we’ll have football back” I bet it’ll end up being little more than a feeder league and an entity for the Super League clubs to loan youngsters to. And you’re left with shell clubs with zero coverage surrounded by sickening Super League adverts aimed at utter casuals everywhere you look. Everton is then just full of players you can’t get behind and who don’t want to be there anyway because it’s a plastic stepping stone with zero money in it.

Why bother at all? The sports absolutely gone and it isn’t coming back.
