Well Steve Walsh got two years and Marcel Brands got three and a half, so if you're comparing him to his predecessors who were just as useless as he appears to be (I'd argue far more so as they worked under far more comfortable parameters than Thelwell does) then sacking him is a little harsh.
But to hell with it. Sack him, sack them bloody all. Not a single one of them deserves to be anywhere near this club. There's not a single element of the playing side of this club that I'm proud of. I'm not even excited about the stadium, because I've got no idea how we're paying for it and I've got no idea what division we're going to be in when it's finally ready.
We are an absolute failure of a football club right now and we're only going one way. The people who have made that happen, past and present, I physically can't loathe them anymore than I currently do.

We have just gone through a review of how the club should be ran and Thelwell is implementing that plan.
The club had massive gaps in recruitment and sport sciences and so on.
Because results haven't gone well on the pitch should we sack the ticket office staff as well.
I've been calling for Lampard to be sacked for a while and you defended him. Now you have lost the plot and want to burn everything down.

He spent the Richarlison money on Maupay and McNeil. How can anyone have any confidence in him?
And that's before we even consider whether he is qualified for the DOF role? What are his credentials to get this job?
His record in recruitment at this club is an absolute joke.
If the manager is going (and he will) then the DOF absolutely must follow because he provided the manager with a diabolical front line not fit for the championship.

He's not done anything in his time here to suggest he knew that the immediate priority was the squad and not trying to fix the internal issues at the club (which again, aren't his fault). We still haven't got a head of recruitment, which should have been the first port of call.
That being said, if Lampard is sacked, then the DoF has to be the one who picks the manager, picks the players and takes ultimate responsibility.
We can't really afford to sack both a manager and DoF and need both, as we'd be in the same situation as this time last year.

Yes and knock all of this Director of Football bollocks on its head at the same time. We've tried three, two supposedly the best in the business, and then this Kopite who has finished us off. It doesn't work here when you've got Kenwrong still with his fingers involved in everything and a mad owner who goes behind the manager's back and interferes with transfers.
