It's not really a bother though. Last season, losing Stones late in the window would have been terrible, as we all knew the fans and club didn't want to do it.

This year, the fans aren't that arsed, and the club clearly is open to doing business.

I'm not bothered if he stays or goes.

Why play him as a central defender? Playmaker in front of a back four. He is top class coming out of defence with the ball. People say he cant tackle or head a ball, Rio Ferdinand wasnt that great at that but his posistional sense and football brain was brilliant. The better players you play with the better you become, and John Stones will be up there with the best imo
