Takeover bid by Peter Kenyon

I don’t think it would be allowable, as all the reports so far are showing that the proposed bidders have concerns over FFP.

I could be mistaken, mind.

Perhaps in relation to the media reports about potential points deduction leading to relegation from the PL (what Burnley and Leeds were going to sue about)

If Everton have their agreements in place with the PL about covid losses though then this is probably nothing more than media noise.

Who knows though, wouldn’t surprise me to find financial incompetence at Everton, I mean they’re terrible at everything else so there’s no reason for us to believe their claims that they’re all above board.

Moshiri problem was he never got rid of Kenwright who hasn’t got a clue how to run a club with loads of money. The amount of times we nearly went bang under Kenwright is unbelievable yet he kept him in. Then we employed a CEO who no idea how to run a billion pound business(give or take) An we are where we are.
Look at the stadium… taken at least 3 years to longer because of the messing about, the Redesigns and the pointless surveys
Had we had personal people in the right position we be in the stadium this season
It's more complicated than that, Kenwright only relinquished his stake by being guaranteed that he could maintain his seat at the table, Moshiri and co were the only ones that agreed to it. I can't knock Moshri for his commitment he has shelled out his mate's money like superfly at a strip club. Though this could be more transfer from one figurehead to another or it could be Alisher Usmanov looking to free up some cash...who knows. Either way, the only way this will be successful is if we stop treating it like a vanity project. For Everton to have any chance of breaking into the Big '4' we need commit to a long term 5 years footballing and playing strategy that every signs up to owners, coaches, managers - if a new manager comes in then they agree to it or they don't join. It's time to have the courage to make hard choices and commit and belive in them - the only way this club will stop tripping itself up

What assets do we have to strip? An how do they leverage the buy out when we can’t even get loans to build a stadium.

Richy and DCL are our only assets an 1 of them is leaving this summer. Then you add in that our wages are something like 90 odd % of our income leaving nothing to take out the club.

Sell players… we been trying that for the past 3 years with no success.

No like they can take loans out on a stadium that’s not finished

"Potential"

It'll be cheaper for them to get in now while a stadium is being built (partially already paid for), than it would be to do it after it.

Feet under the table, 2 years later a spanking new stadium with zero effort.

The stadium is key because there is no way they're swooping in to save poor Everton from the clutches of Moshiri without it

As much as these investors sound troubling I don’t know what to wish for as I think Moshiri departing asap could save us a world of trouble.

I honestly think the surface has only been scratched when it comes to Moshiri and Usmanov, their relationship and business dealings, their purpose in owning Everton. There have been a few articles since the sanctions looking at Moshiri’s relationship with Usmanov without a real smoking gun but I do wonder what would be uncovered if someone dug deep enough.

It only takes a couple of minutes googling to be repulsed by a guy like Thornton but we shouldn’t assume the ethical, and more importantly, legal issues with Moshiri and Usmanov, although better hidden, aren’t worse.

Anybody who thinks this bunch are an improvement are a step up from our current owner are absolute headcases.

Moshiri is a buffoon when it comes to football, and he's clearly not ruthless enough when it comes to execs. (which is really surprising when you see how decisive he usually is with managers.)

you think this american crew will be better then our current owner? na not a chance
