The Everton Board Thread

And this genius “elite” accountant has spaffed most/much of his fortune to put a company in a position where they’re losing hundreds of millions and under existential threat.
He'd have done a lot better if he didn't think he was playing monopoly

I also think he put faith in people who didn't deserve it due to his own lack of knowledge of running a football club
The likes of Kenwright and Joorachibianananan spring to mind

You're talking about Usmanov tho which is irrelevant as I'm talking about Moshiri.

The same Moshiri who is a chartered accountant, worked for some of the biggest accountancy firms in the world and who eventually met Usmanov and guided him into making some excellent investments.

Funny how no one on here cared about Moshiri's source of money until Boris Johnson brainwashed people with his cold war rhetoric into believing all Russians are evil (the same Johnson who's Tory party is swilling in Russian money).
It is quite amazing how you don't support a line of politics (Tories) and yet support people that are the epitome of what you claim to disagree with. You either haven't a clue what you are talking about or you are a hypocrite. You mentioned above that 'search engines are your friend', heed your own advice and use them

Fair point ... but aren't Villa owned by a yank? Tge US being the home of exploitation and greed?
I am not sure of the intent of your post. Regardless of whether Villa is owned by a corrupt tyrant or not, it doesn't change my view on Usmonov or Moshiri. It is not an 'I have a bigger dick than you debate'.
However, Villa is owned by an Egyptian and an American. The Egyptian is the main shareholder and is the Chairman of Villa (V Sports). The American appears to be fairly aboveboard and doesn't have a dodgy history from what I can tell but any billionaire is open to some elements of a checkered past I am sure. He is a finance and investment guy so I am sure he has made a lot of people unemployed over his career. The Egyptian also looks to be aboveboard. However, he is a big player in the fertilizer business and I am always skeptical of people that make billions from natural resources. He is also the largest single shareholder of Adidas.
I support Villa but I am not going to support the owners if I discover they have a history of persecution or corruption.

All of the above.

Yes, I love the way my club is going. The owners are doing all the right things. Apologies if my reply was a bit snotty but I was just annoyed with the praise for people that have caused so much misery to innocent people in Russia and stolen money from them that I was a little angry when I posted which is not a good excuse.
I think MSP could be the correct step for EFC to get good owners. Lots need to be sorted out and some competence on the board is needed and MSP are professionals. Next year may not be pretty. Dyche will keep u up but hopefully, the backend stuff will be sorted properly and a good management team put in place. Once that is there u can really start looking forward as the future will be very bright. Hopefully the fans will give MSP some time to fix the problems which need to be fixed before fixing what is happening on the pitch

We are actually only almost seven weeks away from kicking off a new season, the lack of leadership from Stadler and Waldorf at the very top is staggering yet in tune with their tenure,we have no board currently, whatever we thought of the previous incumbents, but no board, players have left since the end of the season, weakening our abysmal squad even further,no incomings, hello Kevin can you wake up now the window is open an actually do your job?no communication barring last Monday, all pretty standard under this regime I guess, but just same old, same old, this fanbase well I can only speak personally for myself and my own Evertonian cohorts are drained, tired of it all, what is going on there,if we are truly goosed with FFP,tell us,is there investment forthcoming?tell us,bills future and potential new board members, tell us,is there anything positive happening?,again please tell us,this fanbase deserves so,so much more than this, your investment in our club would certainly have been jeopardised even further without our backing home and away these last two seasons to keep our team afloat, just get a bloody move on will you, every day pandering to your egos is another day lost for us,for Dyche and his staff and that relegation noose is strengthening on our club because we will fall through that trap door this season for sure if major change is not imminent on and off the pitch.

You just know Kenshite's sitting there at home enjoying watching us go through this - like pa grinning Jabba. With Carlin by his side.
