The Fanbase - it's your fault?

The buggers these days get off light.

A few boos is nowt compared to facing decapitation when the cushions were raining down back in t’ 70s

Correct - unfortunately this how society is now.
Everybody immune to criticism in case they get upset- this misguided approach (community policing!) has saw the kids take over the streets and has now reached football.
If they don’t want to deal with the hassle they get give the money up and go and do something else!

If anything, the fans don't get angry enough at times. This club just stopped working hard enough for success, and stopped demanding success after 1987.Hopefully that has changed under Moshis watch. However anyone who's angry at Silva at this early stage, is being ridiculous. He needs at least 2 seasons here, before we can judge him.

Discussion in other threads regarding the ability of our players have solely pointed the finger at our fan base. So let the debate begin.

Are the vile ketwigs in the street end responsible, or may the IPA drinkers in the Park End?? Is it possible that a set of fans, sitting there and paying money to watch the team they love be responsible for Tom Davies being unable to pick out a 5 yard pass, or even find space for himself?? Is it the fans fault that DCL looks like bambi on ice??

How far do our disgusting fans go? Was Gylfi a victim of this same horrible behaviour last year?? The poor lad was just trying hard week in and week out but was unable to demonstrate all his talent because of the constant harassment he received from the stands.

How can we address this horrible pattern which has been holding our club back since 1987?
I havent read the other threads yet so not sure why you are crying, but yes, more than likely the matchgoing fans are responsible

People are entitled to boo, but they shouldn't be surprised if the players dont respond in the way they want

Surely it is better to vote with your feet and not turn up

Getting paid millions a year to entertain and put in an effort. Yet some of them can’t be arse to run 5 yards and close down. Strolling on the pitch meaninglessly hardly breaking into a sprint. Oh and we can’t boo them cos they might cry on the pitch,

I see some folks barely afford a season ticket without sacrificing some lifestyle changes and of cos they are entitled to boo when their hard earn money going to waste with abysmal performance.

honestly I can understand fans frustrations people scrimping and scraping to go and watch the team they have loved and been passionate about all there lives scream and shout extremities at them yeah....but booing them I think is a definite no, the morale of the players is what makes the team perform and if they are getting booed well they are not going to want to get the ball and try create in fear of the boo boys
