And feel the benefit mentally. The gym is brilliant for this mate, truly.
This is the main benefit for me really. Yeah it’s great when you start to see the physical changes, but mentally is where you feel the big difference. Been times I’ve felt really down or just abit crap generally and felt a million times better after a little run or whatever, even better if you can grab a cheeky steam and sauna as well.

Very very much this mate. It should be promoted very much more for the many and sustained benefits it brings to mood and feeling.

I think they're just desperate to people to pipe up and ask why they're parked there.

Same with dropping weights and walking round shrugging their shoulders making eye contact.
Just smash them with a dumb bell mate, get all that anger out.

Mad how physical exercise isn’t promoted in this country really, I’m not in great shape by any means, but for the list of reasons given above it should be taught to kids in school, people suffering from depression etc…

The gym stereotypes are nearly always the most insecure and self loathing of all shapes and ages in the gym. It’s all a mask as they build up a caricature to bury their true vulnerable self, pity them.

Something I think of often this and it’s a massive dropping of the ball. In the same way we practice personal hygiene, feed/hydrate ourselves and try sleep well we should also have the habit of moving, should we have the privilege to do so. It’s an essentially that should have as much priority as the others.
