Had a month off. Plan to get back on it next week.

Just bought omega 3 capsules and zinc and magnesium capsules to get me arse in gear. Two different types of protein already in.

Cardio and weights. Hess Hess.

No pain no gain.

Cheers @roydo

I'm back lads. After a 2.5 year hiatus I'm back in the gym defying gravity.

Anyone ever used a massage gun? These DOMS are painful as heck.
There boss mate. I haven’t got a gun but got one of the massage pads that you can lie on for your back etc. I’ve used a gun and they are really good.

I fear the DOMS next week so will start off light and eat really good. Stretching is key also.

I bought one and I’m surprised by how aggressive it is, even on the lowest setting. I’ve got nerve damage in my left shoulder blade area and it seems to help bring a bit of feeling back, as often it feels completely numb.

I hess hess every week on the arl heavy bits of metal and have done for 15 years or so. A few cardio sessions in there, some yoga as I get older and a balanced diet see me in hot shape. Physically and mentally. I’m not messing when I say I’d easily choke out most of you ferrets with my python arms and snort a monster line of protein on the side when doing it. I’m over hundred kilos six foot three and lean. I’m a mid life bang bang machine. All the hesses.

They help relieve the pain mate, but, as long as you’re still working out on the problem area, it won’t cure the problem.

They’re similar to TENS machines, which I’ve used off and on over the years, for injuries caused by running.

I’ve still to find anything better, for relieving muscular injuries, than a good old hot water bottle.

I’m waiting to see a back specialist so I’m just doing whatever I can to mitigate the issue until then. Since going back to the gym it’s helped considerably. It’s been giving me a lot of discomfort in work.

You can pain relief patches, that you stick onto the effective area.

They work for a few hours, but again don`t cure the problem.

If you`re anything like me, you`ll be told to rest it, until the pain has gone and then completely ignore the Dr`s advice lol
