I’m shocked to read Evertonians who have had to ensure Sean Dyche are turning their noses up at Graham Potter or Mancini.

Mental
I wouldn't turn my nose up at either but let's be clear that we're not talking about Guardiola here, it's one bloke who's never finished higher than 9th in the PL and another who hasn't managed at club level for 8 years, they're hardly going to have universal approval.

Both managers are probably 34,384x better at their job than our current manager.

That’s his mentality I am speaking about, I don’t think they would cope with the expectation.

As football managers, they’re heads and shoulders above what we have.

So you're turning your nose up at him as you don't feel he has the capability of managing us...

Which I'd agree with. He clearly wasn't comfortable in his own skin at Chelsea.

Hipster hype aside, the results don't even show he's better than Dyche. As I say, Dyches record at Burnley and Everton is better than Potter, who spent, at Brighton. Football, weird game.

I’m not turning my nose up at him. Even if he struggled with expectation I am 100% confident they would do better than Dyche.

He’s the worst manager we’ve had in our Premier League history.

I think the Roma managerial interviews held in London was a good indication of what manager they would look to IF they sack Dyche.

Allegri - I think would not be interested in a move unless a spectacular deal is offered

Terzic - Very interesting. A new young manager who has worked at the top level but with our current squad I don't we would see the best of him given he likes to play high intensity and possession based football which I think all Everton fans wants to see. He would be a fan favourite for sure.

Sarri - I don't see him at Everton. He is very disruptive and I think we need to find some calm right now.

Mancini - Again excellent at City and Inter but needs a huge deal with huge money which I don't think we can afford.
I hope that the Everton job would have come up in some of them interviews, perhaps our new manager is in that list.... But to quote the Bobble, there is no appetite to sack Dyche by Everton Football Club, no one is talking about it.

just go down your local Sunday league, pick a manager and bingo a 100% upgrade on Dyche.

just give us anyone who has a bit of tactical nouse about them.

also someone who doesn't talk about nuts and bolts, grass, hard yards and premier league experience

Is this the same guy who got Brighton to 9th with glen Murray and maupay
And the dychette’s cryarsed about him
Having maupay as one of his strikers for us.
Funny how Chelsea or any of the other big 6 didn’t came calling for dyche in his 10yrs at Burnley or the year he sat on his hands

It doesn't look like the DoF model will be going anywhere any time soon, so I would like a head coach; somebody who pours themselves into their work on the training ground, always thinking and developing.

The current pub landlord may somehow manage to stumble on until the end of the season, but the groundwork for identifying his replacement should have already started.

Potter wouldn't sell Maupay to us. Turned it down - only let him go the year later because of contract. Think Potter actually signed him too for a big fee for them at the time.

As for 9th - that was the 51 point season in his 3rd year. 1 win more than Dyche achieved last season.

The same Dyche who got Burnley 7th and Europe. On a genuine positive net spend.

We could do this dance all day.

Well we can’t because none of the top teams wanted dyche, it’s not hard to understand, potter went from Swansea to the prem with Brighton to a top 6 club. And dyche had 10 seasons at Burnley to finish top half once, that year he got 7th he got 54 points I think,
Carlo got 59 when we got 10th, you can get lucky some seasons. He also relegated them twice, not sure potter relegated anyone

The most chaotic team in world football took a punt because of hipster hype, and it failed - as I said it would on here at the time. Todd Boehly's football opinion isn't worth anything.

I've never rated Potter and provided context around his hype over the years - most don't realise he spent money, and didnt improve them until his 3rd year and even that was relatively modest.

Others brought in Dyche comparison to Potter here, and we can make them but it'll only paint Dyche in a better light for the reasons I've give. Here's another one - Dyche improved Everton more than Potter improved Brighton. Not opinion, that's results. Factor in Potter spent money too and Dyche hasn't.

The thread is about potential new appointments, and for me, Potter wouldn't be a good one because 41 points, 41 points and 51 points despite spending a wedge in a team with very low expectations at the time. I think he'd be a disaster here as he was at Chelsea - mentality, style, personality - everything.
