This won't happen but I'd be very content with Moyes coming back with Carsley as No2 until the end of the season and then Moyes taking over the DoF role leaving Carsley in charge of the first team
That's an interesting idea, actually.

Personally, I don't see why we should restrict ourselves to Evertonian old boys, but if we were to go down the route above I could live with it.

What I really don't want is for us to hire a manager who will be off at the first signs of interest from other clubs. In other words, nobody who really wants the Man U job.

No one decent from abroad will come to us unless we promise them a huge transfer budget and basically immunity from being sacked for the first season.

Dont fully agree as we will have to sell the club with long term plans and with room to improve the first team with a decent transfer budget. This will be on TFG to proove they can sell the club to a new manager. I think will be tough but does give us more hope with new owners now as moshiri has been shown he is a clown

https://breakingthelines.com/tactical-analysis/analysing-sergio-conceicaos-porto/. Was reading up on him as seen his name in here sounds like a good option. Do hope that we can look outside england aswell and try get the best manager we can bring in

Honestly think they would like it because clearly dont do any work on the ball with dyche. The only tatic i have seen was hitting in to the far post on on corners and looking for tark to head it back.do feel whoever we bring in need to bring back some positivity back to the fans and the squad. They aint the best but like the bournemouth game have shown they can play football. Does not help dyche constantly throwing the fans and players under the bus

Like even the start on saturday thought it was positive, maybe with an eary sub 2 nd half to bring on mangala and beto even just to go two uptop. Would have given the fans a lift and the players and shown that the manager wants to go on the attack. One way to play and that is dont let the other team score and pray we can grab a goal

If we are going down the relatively youthful and a bit inexperienced route then Carsley is probably top of the list.

Potter has such a chequered history. Excellent in Sweden and decent at Swansea and Brighton but seemed to buckle under the weight of expectation and player ego at Chelsea. I liked his football at Brighton but would be hell of a risk ( as would Carsley).

Allegri - not for me. His glory days in Italy are an awfully long time ago and I'm far from sure that either he or his brand of football would translate well at Everton.

McKenna has the whiff of this seasons flavour . Personally I can't stand him and I don't think that he has the personality to win over the Everton fans.

Sarri / Mancini - proven managers but would only be coming here for the money rather than the opportunity to develop and make an impression/ statement.

Dyche has to go ( obviously) and although I have reservations I prefer anyone on your list and above to him.

That said the decision on his replacement is the single most important decision that TFG will make at Everton. They just have to get it right, glad it's not me making the decision.
If you call somome in their 50s youthful

I'm backing Moyes coming back. And another reason for me is there's a connection Moyes still referred to us when he was West Ham manager rather than West Ham and also still refers to us as 'we'. I wonder if Leicester sacking their manager puts Everton on the alert to make a decision because (whoever it is) they may not want Leicester to take a manager that we were wanting. Unlikely I suppose. But Dyche getting a vote of confidence. Time to go.

Agreed, would need to be a big push from our side to get him.

Carsley is a positive option i think. Not afraid to follow his attacking instincts and would coach a young group i think.
I like the football his sides play, he did a good job stepping up to full England role I think. You could see what he was trying to do with them as a team. He also appears to be a good man manager. I do think its a big plus if you can get someone who's played for this club as a manager. That was one of the reasons I wanted us to go for Arteta over Ancelotti.
