well he did and come out explaining it was down to his tactics when Kane was out. He packed the midfield and it failed. A manager who actually admitted they tried something different and it failed.
I get that....... but we are talking about Harry Kane. He dosen't have the pick of the crop here.He had the choice of the elite of the nation and still got it wrong.

I'll be fair to Carsley in I don't think he will be a "Bring a blue home TM" appointment like Unsy, Fergy and Co's. From all accounts he appears an actual manager. But he is very unproven. Then again, what are our other choices?

I think if we want to stay up it has to be Moyes. Massive gamble on another manger who hasn’t managed in this league and especially a relegation battle. Think Potter is just too expensive given his Chelsea payoff we’d have to cover.

Any new managerial appointment, whether experienced or inexperienced is a risk given our situation especially with the number of loanees and players in the last year of their contract but I think keeping Dyche is a greater risk based on this seasons performances and behind the scenes rumours of fall outs etc.

It depends...if the new manager gets a decent budget in January, then it might work. If we have very little room to spend because of psr then indeed i do not see anybody that could replace dyche other than moyes. Problem is that moyes is going to want a long contract, meaning you're stuck with him for the next 2 or 3 seasons. In an ideal world, you would hope that dyche can stay until the end of the season, and then replace in the summer as long as we are out of the bottom 3...replacing dyche now is not part of the ideal scenario really but might have to be done to ensure safety.

I don't think Lee Carsley would take the job. [Edit] Maybe, on interim. But he's never been one for a permanent managerial role. I'm sure he spoke about not wanting to be a manager/prefers wider development roles.
