Haha i could imagine. Although i did love the main squares shops which sold fake/copied CD'S and DVD'S. It was great getting all the latest release movies as they hit the cinema here in the UK

We were on the edge of Platya D'Aro, near Palamos. Fantastic campsite, and took lots of day trips out to Llafranc, Girona, Begur, Figueres etc. A great holiday.
Anyone ever been to Bratislava in Slovakia? Thinking about booking a long weekend there in November for my girlfriends birthday but have literally no idea about the City. If it's anything like Bosnia or Croatia i'm sure it'll be brilliant.

A different part of Eastern Europe though, Slovakia has the reputation of being the poor relation to the Czech Republic when the old Czechoslovakia split in c.1989. Could you combine it with Vienna, not far as the crow flies?
I've been to several counties in Ireland. We have a lot of interesting rocks and hills for those of you who are blown away by such things.

Lad I worked with in Holland (he was Scottish & company from Aberdeen) got asked to go over to Uzbekistan, he went then announced he was coming back to visit with his new wife .... she was an absolute stunner !! said he used to just pull over at the roadside wherever he fancied & there was weed growing wild there, said he was baked the whole time for free.
