Best overall trip was either Dubai or Rome, can't decide between these two (they are so different yet both so interesting from architecture and historical perspective), but best vacation as in sea/pools, parties and bitchez was definitely Malta, just in front of Cyprus. Even though I'm still pretty young, I'd consider travelling as my biggest passion. I love it.

Anyone managed to watch any local footy whilst travelling these exotic places??

Stories please.

That's my job haha.

Footy, F1, Cricket, Golf etc...

Mostly Europe but the best experience I've ever had in terms of going to a football match that doesn't concern Everton would actually be a game in Austria just under a month ago. Austria Wien 2-5 Rapid Wien, the Derby of course.

Absolutely beautiful country first of all but also lovely people, being a German speaker myself made it pretty easy to settle in for the week I was there, but the match itself was absolutely outstanding. Doing a feature about derbies all over the world, and this one really was an experience. The best atmosphere I've ever experienced, even better than Budapest, and the game was end to end, the whole experience was breathtaking. I'm going to try and catch the reverse fixture to see it from a a Rapid point of view at their stadium.

Thought on numerous occasions what it'd be like if you had a Wien Derby at Goodison Park with almost 40,000 fans packed in, the noise would be deafening. Best non-Everton footballing experience of my life.

Best place I've ever been is San Francisco. Loved it I would definitely live there.

Always wanted to travel through the Rockies on a glass ceiling train

Planning on the trains cos I'd prefer it to driving in a different country.

Bavaria is silly good though. Explored what we could while we were there, definitely going back.
I find the switch to driving on the right takes about 20 mins to adjust then you're all good.

i used to follow England home and away for abit. went to euro 2004 in Portugal for a month. bought all my tickets there, paying WAAAY over the odds for them. think my England v France ticket was 600 euro! the match where we conceeded 2 very very late goals to gift them a win 2-1. was also at the croatia match to watch rooney score in the 4-2 win..

if young lads are planning a trip to france next year for the Euro's - make sure you go. it is brilliant. esp if we take the same sort of support like we did in 2004. 60,000 fans!
