I've never visited Thailand but I did Vietnam and Cambodia a few years a go and it was the best holiday ever.
I went to Vietnam in 2019, it is probably the best place I have been. I messed up my Cambodia visit as when booking, it my head was all over the place with jetlag and sleep deprivation. I really should have gone for longer. My aim is to come back for a longer spell, and spend more time there and go to Laos also.

I like Vietnam and have Danang/Hoi An on my list. I love Cambodia though. I've done Siem Riep and Angkor 5 times. I feel totally at peace there. It should really be one of the seven wonders. It's way better than the Taj Mahal or Chichen Itza IMO.
Been to Cambodia several times. Stayed on the coast at sihanoukville. Love the place but itās barely recognisable from my first visit 20 odd years ago. Was deserted islands and beaches but is full of casinos now.
