What's that Orlando striker like in real life? Found him on FIFA last week, Akinfenwa body double haha.

Do you mean Daryl Dike? I've seen Orlando play maybe 3 times in the last year and I can't say I remember him at all.

But it is close on a lot of spots other than Steffen, Dest, Adams, McKennie and Pulisic. Brooks is probably the best CB but who partners him is a complete toss up. Dest is both the best RB and LB so the other option is swapping him across and playing Reggie Cannon who has always impressed me at RB. The third CM could be a whole host of players but Musah was pretty good this month so I left him in. The center forward spot is wide open really.

What is encouraging is that is a decent team with a strong enough core and enough other options available now or coming through that it could be a real handful by 2022 or 2026.

I forgot about Yedlin. I'd say he isn't but he also isn't playing for Newcastle and I've seen mumblings that he might go back to MLS which would just about be that imo.

I have to say I'm really impressed with what Dest brings. He looks so confident on the ball at all times.

The US is playing a friendly vs El Salvador with domestic players only and I'm a bit confused as to how this is even worthwhile as El Salvador are woeful and the MLS version of the national team might score 10.
 
Brenden Aaronson is already set to move to Salzburg and I hope Chris Mueller can find a club in Europe to move to soon as well as he's at the age where it is starting to be now or never. Wouldn't hurt someone like Akinola to start trying to go down that path as well. Hopefully the guys who are in Europe making it big can show the rest of them that it can be done and is the way forward.
