All of who force the mute button into use!
Kaveh solhekol is by far the worst on sky. The goggle eyed tit looks like Timmy off south park and is an odious little turd. Didn't he wrongly and very publicly accuse someone of racially abusing him just because the fella called him out for being a clueless buff?

1) Replays need to be challenge based so the managers decide what is looked at, not the officials.

2) We need to hear the discussions between the VAR and onfield officials.

3) We need specialist video referees. It cannot be current or former referees. Clear distinct lines of responsibility.
All of these are so clear but it'll never happen tho I don't necessarily agree with #1. Especially 3. Can't have Lee Mason and others barely able to get from one end of the pitch to the other not have a job still!

VAR as an idea is right - technolgy is and should be available to be used to correct erroneous on field decisions, in a quick time frame that does not need endless reviews and redrawing of lines or 15 different angles. There should be no bias or whiff of human error or corruption.

Sadly, we get the opposite of the above, and it’s been favouring certain teams ever since it’s half arsed rollout.

I would go so far as it’s another nail in the games coffin - I can’t celebrate a goal as it goes in just in case they come up with something to rule it out - I even didn’t celebrate against arsenal, which looked and was a perfectly good goal, because I am expecting VAR to find something to get the bigger clubs off the hook.

The list of “human errors” and shocking VAR calls is just too big for it not to be a conscious, biased, corrupt, money related issue and for that reason it needs to be scrapped.

Yes. The lad that has a Palace web site, blog and is a nice fella as well as knowing his stuff.

Challenge based like tennis? 3 challenges per half/set? Let sides have their own teams to inform the manager on the spot of the issue?
Keep it as it is and do the exact opposite? See how different it'll be?
Bin the current custodians, get the two codes of rugby refs in to apply rules and on field discipline.
Throwing more of the same people at these decisions has only increased the scope for their ineptitude or worse, tv owns the game, so in turn own the league, who in turn appoint the clowns to guide it. It's looking increasingly that there is a very clear agenda.

Or....just let the ref use it if he wants to or not.

It's currently the other way around.

It is mad that other sports dont have this problem with their technology, again just proves the corruption in the EPL

Because rules in football are open to interpretation apart from if a ball crosses a line.

The offside calls shouldn't be an issue but incompetence has made it so.

Whole thing needs binning IMO or just leave it to the ref to ask if he wants help over a decision he's unsure off. They used to do that with the linesman. Could've done it with the 4th official in the stands but never did.

The missing cameras for the RS v Wolves game suggests something more than incompetence, but for all that I don't think it should be completely scrapped. For me, it is more about the way the officials are using (or rather misusing) the technology.
