Count again.

Then take a look at how many of those players were regularly playing over the past 3 years.

Im spot on.

10 plus a glowing reference for Mykolenko who is garbage. These players just aren’t very good - hence why virtually none of those listed have actually played often at mid table Prem level

I think you'll find the number was 9.

With a mention on Patterson should he be seeing regular games as an actual full back. Also one for Mykolenko who has indeed done very sell in some games defensively against some of the best players.

Of the 9 mentioned, I think you'll find only Pickford and at a very big stretch DCL have played 'regularly' over the last 3 seasons.

In fact only Pickford, Tarkowski, Onana and McNeil were even regulars last season.

So it certainly isnt the same group of players "for the last 3 years" as you incorrectly stated.

Is crap going forward but I can't fault him defensively for the most part, even that 2nd Luton goal, it wasn't his fault he was left with 2 men.

The problem is when we do go forward, though. Luton did their best to force us over to Mykolenko's side because hey knew the attack was more likely to break down.

Would like to see us address this and get a more attack minded LB in Jan... or if we're chasing the game, put McNeil at left-back.

He needs to keep in mind that teams will target him until he proves he can lock that back post down. First time he left his man open again and got caught on the pick. Second time he tracked his man and got into position to put the player off. He doesn’t need to beat them to every ball but he has to be there to put pressure and make it difficult. Hopefully he is learning and we quit giving up cheap goals.

Agree but think someone should be man marking billing. Mykolenko needs to get in better positions further up the field to help McNeil either pull a player away or to be an option he’s such a poor player

It’s 3v2 there every single time. Tactical flaw.

He has to improve. I think overall he has looked decent enough today. But he has to be able to go beyond McNeil and assist in the attack as you said. He goes up the field but tends to stop a bit early

Him not following the ball and getting caught playing footsies on the 18 yard line against Luton is more than a tactical flaw. He is just as responsible. I do think Dyche hasn’t been perfect on set pieces but Myko can’t leave people wide open.

He’s being picked by the extra man. Just put another guy over there and it all stops. Even a moron like me can see that

He gets up there then looks lost like he doesn’t know where he should be at one point he went beyond him and just took up mcneils space leaving his position open for a counter. His awareness is awful was a spell of quick passing by Bournemouth and he didn’t know whether he was coming or going at his age you would think you’d of learnt your positioning at this point.
