Rooney is doing a decent job and could be a good manager, far too early for him to come here though.
I’d prefer him to come when him and the club are in a better position so it’s got a good chance of actually working out.

But his off the field behaviour isn't what it needs to be to be a top manager for me at the moment. If you are out boozing and that and are in the tabloids then I don't think players will respect him enough

Was a good player but brain dead. You need a certain level of intelligence to manage.

The lad ain't stupid by any means. But some of his off field activities are sufficiently stupid and idiotic enough to mean a sensible club should not touch him with a barge pole.

Besides, I’m not sure Moshiri is his favourite person judging by his comments when he left for that American club. Rooney has always had a short fuse, I can’t imagine he’d tolerate Moshiri’s meddling ways for long.
