Nor from me, mate. I'm talking purely football-wise.

Totally get anyone who doesn't want him here, I just personally would welcome him and afford him all the time I could.
His football career speaks for itself.
But his off the field behaviour isn't what it needs to be to be a top manager for me at the moment. If you are out boozing and that and are in the tabloids then I don't think players will respect him enough

Mourinho (awful manager, past it, no good):
PPG (points per game)
Roma 1.88
Spurs 1.77
United 1.97

Rooney:
Derby 1.10
Caretaker at Derby 1.18

Rafael:
Everton 1.17
DL Pro 1.16
Newcastle 1.48

Other potential managers:

Lampard:
Chelsea 1.75
Derby: 1.63

Potter:
Brighton (this season) 1.44
Brighton overall 1.19
Swansea 1.45

I'll be honest, none of them thrill me. Many factors to consider of course, some have had access to better players/different circumstances. But I genuinely can't think of a manager I'd be happy with?

Hopefully this is just nonsense paper talk, I could never see it ending well.
Besides, I’m not sure Moshiri is his favourite person judging by his comments when he left for that American club. Rooney has always had a short fuse, I can’t imagine he’d tolerate Moshiri’s meddling ways for long.

Cloughie liked a drop. HK was a boozer. Ferguson was called whiskey nose...
Welcome.back Wayne. Slainte

Derby fans on twitter want £20-30m compensation if we wanted Rooney and dont understand why he would want to go to a "smaller" club in everton. Got to love how mental football fans arelol
To be fair if you want a gullible billionaire to rinse, ol' Mosh would be the one.

I will retire from following the sport if he becomes manager. Lost 7 of their last 8 last season and drew last game to stay up by the skin of their teeth. Not what we need in our relegation fight, he can stay “loyal” to Derby who are in administration while he picks up his £80k a week.
