Mourinho (awful manager, past it, no good):
PPG (points per game)
Roma 1.88
Spurs 1.77
United 1.97

Rooney:
Derby 1.10
Caretaker at Derby 1.18

Rafael:
Everton 1.17
DL Pro 1.16
Newcastle 1.48

Other potential managers:

Lampard:
Chelsea 1.75
Derby: 1.63

Potter:
Brighton (this season) 1.44
Brighton overall 1.19
Swansea 1.45

I'll be honest, none of them thrill me. Many factors to consider of course, some have had access to better players/different circumstances. But I genuinely can't think of a manager I'd be happy with?
Im not having a go, well not much but you do know there are literally Thousands of Professional Football teams in the World, all with managers, so why do we constantly regurgitate the same names over and over.

its this sort of short-sightedness in our board that a good deal of us are raging against and yet we do it every time!

Surely there must be others that can do it?

Sorry its very frustrating and not meant to be a go at you, I apologise!

Please Everton do something Radical and Progressive cos what you have done for the last 6 years has been an abomination

HOLD ON A MINUTE

Do you mean to tell me that Mourinho, while in charge of teams with good players and money to spend, had a better PPG than other managers at clubs who were varying degrees of crap?

I don't disagree mate. I'm simply showing those we're linked with. As I said, I'm not convinced by any of them and feel like we need something outside the box. The problem being, we aren't attractive and there seems to be zero plans of what our future should be. We threw cash at it and it didn't work. Now what?

We need a stable manager who can grow with us.

I watch a fair bit of the Championship and tbh I have been quite impressed by what Rooney is doing at Derby. He seems determined to learn the right way and his team play a decent style of football given the resources they have. He has also done incredibly well to haul back the points deduction given to Derby and now give them an outside chance of staying up (I'm not sure it will be enough though) He needs to stay and learn though, I don't think he is ready for the step up to the PL just yet but it would be such an EFC thing to do.

To early but i dont think its as mad an idea as some are making out. We're not going to get that much better or play that much better imo under this stuck in his ways stubborn dinosaur.
Rooney learning on the job. I might be getting swayed slightly because of who is standing on the side lines right now. But i dont think its that bad an idea.
