Saw them during the Reflektor tour. Fantastic show. First 4 albums are tremendous and now I don't know if I even want to have them.Shame Wim Butler turned into a bit of a melt, those two albums were perfect

Thought they started to go downhill at Suburbs, and haven't heard anything after Reflektor. tbh I didn't even know what Win Butler had been up to.Saw them during the Reflektor tour. Fantastic show. First 4 albums are tremendous and now I don't know if I even want to have them.
The Clash, the Jam, Buzzcocks, Joy Division. All exceptional.
However, Killing Joke 13th December1982 at the Warehouse, Liverpool was singularly the best performance of any band I've seen live. Energy, power and volume.
I think the best band I've seen live are The Hives. They really put on a show. Also really enjoyed The Darkness. Finally, given the fact they were possibly around 70 at the time, The Rolling Stones were amazing!
Saw Sigur Ros and Godspeed in Dublin in 2000. Not sure which was supposed to be headlining but they played for about the same time. I went to see Godspeed (who I vaguely knew) but Sigur Ros was a total surprise. Both were amazing.Sigur Ros at Brixton about 10 years ago was pretty incredible.
It was loud, very loud and aggressive and iirc Youth was playing bass. Again to the best of my memory it was to support Revelations' release.I was at that Killing Joke gig, you just jogged my memory.
Had Paul Raven been replaced on Bass by then, as I have vague pot memories of massive bass lines, making your teeth rattle !
