Your stance on Martinez AND what would change it?

Been more than reasonable with this fella for over 18 months. This is a lot more than you can say for his results over that time.
He''s proving week in, week out that we're wasting time with him. Tragic after doing similar with Moyes in his latter years.

What could change my mind? Nothing he could ever do. He hasnt got it in him

I'm not sure I'm at the point where I think that 'being ok/good' is beyond him.

But I'm close and have probably crossed that line once or twice.

I really liked him but I'm seriously fed up with him, wouldn't bother me in the slightest if he got the boot.

1.Defense
2.Howard
3.Him talking nonsense

I'm beginning to think the first season was good because the players still had the Moyes philosophy of defend first ringing in their ears.

Combine the two and we would be much higher

What have Rooney, Rodwell, Stones and Barkley got to do with Unsworth? Stones didn't come through our academy, we bought him. Caretaker is the perfect job for a footballer who's trademark 'pass' was a 50 yard punt into the stands. There's a mop and bucket waiting for him at Finch Farm.

The theme is 'Development', why can't we develop managers like we can players?

A: we should try.

I back him. I would change my mind if he sold our stars and didnt replace them adequately. As long as he can keep hold of the core of the team, I'm happy to be patient and let the youngsters develop. The mistakes will go away with more experience.

My worry is once the players find some consistency they will be making noise about transfers.

There's no ' admire' button or that's what if have used. Like? No, it looks like I agree. Look how Moyes got us up the table, look how Martinez is getting us down. Moyes gave plenty of youngsters a throw. Martinez is a pyar gambler,,and losing hand over fist.

You weren't at the 1st game of the season away at Blackburn when Moyes started Ross and dragged him off before half time never to be seen again. The same manager who shipped him out to Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday and told Neil Warnock not to play him because " he couldn't be trusted".
Which other youngsters did he use regularly? Count on one hand the games where the likes of McAleny, Baxter, Velios etc....not an encouraging list of players being given "a throw". Rooney would have got into any team in the World at 17 as he was an absolute natural....the credit is with him as opposed to the manager. Rodwell is about the only one I can muster.

The retaliation, implied as it is, against supporter unrest. Saying he feels sympathy and is just as frustrated, doesn't cut it, he needs to offer some sort of apology, an olive branch to the supporters, recognise mistakes have been made and declare an intent to put them right, with some sign that he is addressing the issues, allowing Robles a run in the side for example.

With you but how long can we be crap before Lukaku and co decide, like more and more of our fans, that he's a charlatan?

And it being Rodwell says it all: a real Moyes player--crab passes and all youthful panache shouted out of him.

I dont know mate. I hope long enough.

The problem is is that we don't defend as a unit, but as individuals, which is fine if you are not prone to silly mistakes. I am hoping we will cut the mistakes out.
