    Klopp to step down.

You'd wonder alright. On the face of it the reason given for leaving is refreshing to hear from someone in any walk of life. He wants to take a break just to live and spend time with people. Good on him if that genuinely is the case.

    6 + 2 Point Deductions

I'm going full Dad mode here but it has to be said. The absolute state of football these days.

I genuinely believe this is the purpose of VAR. It makes no sense otherwise.

Of course we would. Gomes' knee clashed against his knee on his standing leg, which helped him lose his balance. It's a foul all day long for me. Given the precarious position Emerson was in on the pitch, there has to be no doubt in the tackle. It's one of those places that refs always lean...

Their centre halves are defending these balls in very well. Hopefully we can keep the pressure on and they'll let something slip eventually.

Gets them all Dyche fit innit.

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

Since he came in I've always gotten the impression he could do a Moyse-like stint with us, and solidify the club again. For me, he's well on track. The right man, at the right club, at the right time.

    January transfer window 2024

We're being kneecapped down an alleyway by the Premier League for spending some cash and there's STILL lads in here doing the lord's work wheeling and dealing fantasy players. I like it.

If anyone needed proof that the Premier League is corrupt as F, and basically turning into the WWE, here it is. To me at least, VAR is very obviously an attempt to sway games in the direction of good storylines. This unjust and unprecedented punishment is another example of this garbage...

The gremlins are out. Hopefully he gets well soon. Some things are more important than football.

777 Partners / Whatever the hell you like

Uncle Uzzy was the plan. Classic Everton that we finally got a multi-billionaire benefactor and something completely mad, like wartime sanctions, blow the whole thing up for us.

The Moshiri Years; A Litany of Wasted Millions

Thankfully if he was to ever get injured we had the sublime talents of Rooney, Barkley and Sigurdsson to take his place. The year of the number 10.

    2023/24 Beto

He's the type of striker that is so dominant he gives the entire team a boost. Even if he's not scoring he'll guarantee others around him get goals. Hopefully we can find a way to pair DCL with him. They'd be a complete nightmare to play against.

    Summer transfer window 2023

The only thing worse than buying no one is buying absolute dross and having them stuck on our books for years. I'm glad we got a couple of the puddings out. Wages of poor contributes have been a millstone around our neck for years. Shame we never got more players in, but if it means saving...

    2022/23 Conor Coady

It's quite rare for a loanee to feel like they are part of the squad fabric. Almost immediately other players were referring to his leadership qualities. Fair play to him for his impeccable attitude and effort. Shame to see him go, but understandable given our finances.
