    Goodison Park

Eggs, strange question but the names of the people who's ashes are at Goodison, would that be all the people who have been laid to rest there? My wife's dad died when she was a baby, and she didnt know his ashes where scattered at Goodison till a few years ago, but had no more details - was...

    Summer 2024 transfer thread.

Yeah this is another view point I agree with in all honesty mate. It's a good point.

    Summer 2024 transfer thread.

I would absolutely take a punt on Adarabioyo, ohare and even Barkley even though he wouldnt come back I dont think. Ndidi would be a great signing if he was fit.

    Summer 2024 transfer thread.

Speed and creativity, it comes with a cost, but has to be prioritised over anything this summer. Bored of watching players who cant pass, and run like they're stuck in quick sand.

    Spending cap at last

It works off the TV revenue I think mate, so I think theres a guaranteed minimum the clubs make. Can see a situation where the big boys try to renegotiate the tv deal so the lowest club gets a bigger portion now to pump the cap.

    Spending cap at last

Doesn't it work out x5 what the bottom club TV revenue is, so would be about £500m, though I think that includes wages, agent fees etc. If it ran this season, only Chelsea/City run close.

    Summer 2024 transfer thread.

I think summer transfer plans will be easy, a check box exercise for the club; - Talked to player or linked to them for more then 1 transfer window ✅ - Free transfer ✅ - Played for Dyche (or a new manger if he goes) ✅ - Extremely low wages ✅ - Over the age of 27 ✅ A tick in 3/4 of these will...

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

Basket case of a club is more likely to hand him a new deal then do the right thing. This has been awful for a long time, I’d normally not be overly upset at being beat by Chelsea, not like we have a great record there - but last night was the final nail in a coffin which had been massively...

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

Without the deductions, we would have slightly improved. With the deductions,/ we are relatively lucky the leagues bottom clubs are awful. We are not good to watch, he has plenty of problems Dyche imo - subs, game management, starting line up and set up at times, he deserved this season...

    New Everton Stadium Discussion

Defo going to be a massive MEGAFON logo... they thought they had stopped Usmanov.....

    2023/24 Abdoulaye Doucoure

Under Dyche he is a 1 in 3 player though. I think the key to Doucoure is having a midfield which means he doesn't have to pass or dribble, and he can just press and be high up the pitch. He cannot pass to save his life but am fine with that if he continues that form - frustrating player when...

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

At the start I actually liked the way he spoke, now he's getting to levels where I can't even listen to the man. I want us to do well, but I fear his stubbornness will lead to Gana back in and the midfield falling apart again. He doesn't come across as a very likeable person at all, the James...

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

So frustrating the games we have lost due to set up. I said it before the weekend that 40,000 people in the stadium can all see the problem (midfield set up) and he can't see it, I was on the border line on if he is trying to prove he's a good manager and being stubborn or he's actually blind...

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

Oh mate this massively grinds on me, every corner we just put ourselves back under pressure, constantly. Amount of goals we conceded after a corner from not being able to get the ball is unreal

We went from winning the passing, to winning the XG. Can we just win some games and points. That would be awesome.

I genuinely think thats what happens, but Bill heard it as a positive, being the weirdo he is. Yes every board asks what would Everton do, and then not do that cos its a path to doom.

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

Probably still the same mate. Lampard, even though a nice fella, was massively out of his depth - and is at premier league level. Dyche, I am on the fence if he is trying to prove he is a good manager and ignoring the clear issues, or he's a poor manager and can't see it. Either way, he's...

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

Ive been saying the same for a fair few games mate, the set up from Dyche is wrong - and it ultimately hampers players. His ability to change things on the fly is really poor too. I think he's gotten away with it so far with some fans because it's been "change the story" or "details", but the...

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

Yeah 100% mate, it's an indicator but the actual definition of the XG still leaves lots to be desired for me. Like I say, XG, performances and details I am not interested in - points, games won and moving in the right direction. I don't feel like Dyche is capable of this at the moment...

    2023/24 Sean Dyche

Think this is one of the reasons (Michael Keane aside) the villa game was good, the fullbacks weren't focused solely on defending and getting out with a draw.
